    BetOnline.com Complaint - Need Help
Hey all, new to forums, but wanted to share my aggravating (and long) experience with BetOnline.com and see if there was any feedback or help anyone could provide. This is an email I sent to them and am about to follow up on.

Good day, I have been dealing with your company for about 10 days and I am already fed up and disgusted. I have tried numerous times to get my money sent to me, following the rules YOUR employees have relayed to me only to be told differently at later times. First I wanted a check for $110.42 but was told you don't cut checks for under $500, even though this was not mentioned in the "My ACcount" section and the "Request a Payout" section. I then was told I had not meet a rollover of $625, even though in talking to one of your associates via Live Chat (check the transcripts) that wagering this amount was nothing more than a no string attached wager. If I lost, nothing happened, if I won I could walk away with the winnings and get a withdrawal from my account. That obviously is not happening.

I then talked to Supervisor Clark and we discussed payout options. He said he has been in the industry for a few years and did not know of any sportsbooks that would payout a check for a small amount. I told him Sportsbook.com did and would and he asked for proof saying if I could provide that, he would work with me. I provided that proof, but Supervisor Clark did not call me back nor did he comply with the terms he set forth in our phone call.

That's all fine and well as I then turned my $110.42 into $320 and change. I requested a payout and was told that I had not met the rollover amount. They told me my bets in the casino didn't apply (though another associate told me otherwise) so I still had to wager $625 ($50 deposit, $12.50 bonus times 10). I have talked to several people (with Betonline) and they all had told me my withdrawal request would be processed (see transcripts below).

This partial transcript (full transcript is below) shows how I was told that my payout was indeed on its way.

Dwayne: your withdraw is waiting for handlers authorization
    B: What does that mean?
    Dwayne: that is in process
B: When will I be able to get my money?
Dwayne: since you requested it today it will be from 12 to 36 hours to be in your account
B: So in 12-36 hours it will be sent to me?
    Dwayne: it will be
B: So that means that by tomorrow night, I will have my money?
    Dwayne: sure
    B: Is that guaranteed?
    Dwayne: yes
B: So you're telling me that I will be able to pick up my money tomorrow night. Will I get an email when it is available?
info: Your chat transcript will be sent to Saxguy102@aol.com at the end of your chat.
    Dwayne: yes
Dwayne: Is there anything else I can assist you with at this time?
B: And you are looking at my account, correct?
    Dwayne: yes
B: So $311 no later than tomorrow night (12-36 hours)
    Dwayne: correct
B: How is it being sent?
    Dwayne: via **
B: And it's on it's way or being processed, so I have nothing to worry about, right? But I still see the money in my account
Dwayne: the money will not be in your account when it pass the authorization
Dwayne: Is there anything else I can assist you with at this time?
B: What happens if I don't get my money in 12-36 hours?
Dwayne: the money will be in the account in this time frame

I have spoken to literally a dozen Betonline people, via LIve Chat, customer service, and email and get different stories everytime. I requested my payout was told it was going to be processed, and now its on hold and will be canceled.

I have been lied to, mislead, and re-directed countless times. From being told I didnt meet the minimum (which is stated in only one certain place, but not two others), to not having a string attached to the bonus, to being told my payout is on the way (by 4 separate people), to being told that an IF Bet for $250 per leg (3 legs) would cover my rollout (it does not count, only initial bet does), to ANY sportsbook wager counting (its only the lower of the risk/reward amount I find out after the fact). This is ridiculous.

The rules state in regards to bonuses "Thus, to receive a payout without forfeiting anything you won from your bonus, you must first cover the rollover amount (e.g. $1015 + Free Play times ten)." That tells me that I can forfeit my bonus and winnings and receive my payout. I would like to forfeit the $10.42 I won from the bonus and receive my payout immediately, as I requested.

This has been the most aggravating experience I have had in awhile. I kindly ask that you process my payout as I have requested, in line with what your employees have told me several times. You can access all of my emails and Live Chat transcripts internally, please review these. I am not asking for anything other than the money I deposited and the money I won in the casino, that was wagered with NO bonus money, you can keep the $10.42.

I will be calling at 10 AM to discuss this email. Thank you

    (End of Email)

If you made it this far, congrats. I just want my effing money off this scheister of a website. Ive been misled and lied to countless times. Its horribly run from what I can tell and no one seems to know whats going on, and rather than work with you, they talk about their internal rules and guidelines that arent published and even if someone told you something (the supervisor confirmed his associate guaranteed my payout), they dont honor it. This is a horrible way to run any business.

Please help guys (and sorry for the length)

I just received this e-mail, which again makes me think I'll be paid, only to have them cancel my payout later.

Just to keep everyone posted, this is what I have now been told by DC, a (supposed) supervisor. Ive also included my response to Alex and DC

          "
Looks like this issue won't be resolved per DC's email below. I am extremely aggravated right now. This is what I have been referring to all along. Inconsistent information from people on every level. Growing pains are no reason to provide false and misleading information on multiple occasions.

From Day 1 it has been frustrating and it has not gotten any better. I realize you are probably sick of hearing from me right about now, but I want to make sure you understand how I, a BetOnline customer, am feeling. I did not want to wait until Monday night to send this as I wanted to make sure you were kept in the loop.

While you say it will be paid out on Monday, I have heard that it will and won't in about a 50/50 split at this point. What assurances do I have that come Monday night or Tuesday morning I will have my payout?

          Begin forwarded message:

          From: DC
          Date: September 4, 2011 10:47:10 AM EDT
          To: "Me
          Cc:
          Subject: Your account XXXXXXXXX

          Brent,

On behalf of Betonline I apologize for the confusion with your payout. I read your email to our company, and you are correct that we have dropped the ball in giving you accurate information.

The fact of the matter is that we have grown like crazy, have a lot of new employees to try to accommodate customer demand, and our trainee Dwayne told you something that wasn’t true. I was the person who trained him and I take responsibility for his actions. He has been written up by a supervisor for not reviewing the account correctly and not giving you correct information.

However, because a trainee made a mistake doesn’t mean that we can overlook the rollover requirement. Our software simply won’t allow us to issue a payout if the restrictions have not been met. The rollover requirement of $625 does stand.

We wish you well in your wagers with us and please enjoy the rest of the football season,

          DC

Doesnt sound like anyone knows what is going on right now. I still remain hopeful that Alex will be able to accommodate my simple request that has been confirmed by no less than 4 people.

I hope every sees the complaints that are started about Betonline and guess what they get resolved. This guy has the nerve to complain about $100 that it clearly states a min of $500 on there site, doesn't even complete his rollover and they go threw with the payout anyway. To all u Betonline haters this is the garbage that u have on them, just petty bullsh-it . Which obviously gets sorted out. Im glad u got your $ but your funny to complain and even cashout for that small amount, no wonder the books get fed up with stuff, people like this ruin it for everyone.

Thanks for the editorial. It didn't state a minimum of $500 in all but one place, I was explicitly told (and have the chat transcripts to prove it) that the rollover first, didnt apply then second that my casino play would count towards it. I was then told that my If Bets would count, then they wouldnt count.

Anyways, I'm grateful to Alex for helping out in what was obvious miscommunication.

Hey normally i wouldn't say anything but given the amount of threads that have been started lately from this outfit, i have to stick up for them because most of the time it is petty just like this. And to be honest most places wouldn't honor the withdraw, it doesn't matter how many times it says it, its on there on the cashout pages min$500. Like i said before glad u got your $ but to be honest u really should try to keep from cashing out to a minimum of $500 anyway to keep from ruining things for others.

To be honest, if I hadnt stumbled across SBR, I wouldnt have given any thought to the amount of withdrawal, but it makes sense. Lesson learned for the future.

I'm inclined to agree with Legions on this one. Basically, this thread makes Alex look like a great guy who is over worked and goes out of his way to keep betonline's reputation upstanding here at sbr. It seems to me that a lot of these mid-sized books have customer service rep problems. Too bad.

I will say that I've been with DSI for about a year now (I actually signed up and deposited to get into one of sbr's contests). And, I can say without a doubt that they have the best customer service that I have ever experienced. I've played at VIP, Intertops, 5dimes, bookmaker, and a few others.
