Hmm, Ok if you say so sir.

SBG Global has more than earned there current rating here at SBR. You might want to check here on just how they earned such a fair grade.

I know J hes not lying we grew up and started betting together and his whole family does use SBG as did I for awhile it seems they are shady when it comes to big timers but anyone with small money in there gets pretty good treatment just never let your account get to high or deposit too much and your fine

With 81 posts to your resume it's hard to take you seriously.

No need to touch that scum bag book.....plenty of real A books out there.

I can understand where your coming from sir, however I have seen SBG confiscate players funds from time to time, and even seen them invite rules to justify there actions. The latest one being the "tout syndicate rule", where roughly 30 posters got snake bit from it, including SBR poster Curious for roughly 34 dimes.

                10/21/2007 08:49 PM

BetRoyal (SBR rating D-) ends "fraud investigation;" steals winnings
BetRoyal confiscates what is estimated to be just over six figures in winnings from 18 players that were also subscribers to the same sports handicapping service. The book paid a tout to refer these players to BetRoyal. The players, which were clearly sourced from the pick service, made money playing the pay-for picks at BetRoyal. BetRoyal was later purchased by sbg global (SBR rating D-) in June. SBG was asked if they wanted to continue doing business with these winning customers by both the pick service and the players' account manager. SBG management was able to review the account activity and reaffirm that they wanted to book action from these players. The house continued to lose on these plays until management froze the accounts for an "investigation." SBG is known for freezing accounts prior to confiscating funds. This tactic is used to guage backlash from users and the negative effect on current marketing investments; legitimze the claim that there may have been fraud and something to actually investigate, and to simply stall from having to deal with victims when they are most upset. | Recent sbg global theft
I wouldn't put it past SBG to confiscate J's entire family's winnings if they all went on a massive heater in the same week.

Top, if thats your pal........steer the guy to the top of the page.

Honestly, it's a matter of time before this is a no pay. If they can get it all out, say a prayer and consider yourself lucky.

Bottom line is SBG Global has stiffed and will stiff again.

No way a book like that will get a high rating.

Wow.....I'm sure I'll remember this thread the next time I wonder how it is that absolute crap books continue to survive in this industry...

No stumpage this thread (**bad link**) shows why the crap books survive.

On a serious note: While I don't play with SBG, I do use Royal and have never had issues being paid. I have had issues with cancelling bets after line moves with no warning (no e mail, no phone call nothing). There customer service is a joke and their known penchant for stealing money off winners.

All I can say to you and your family is good luck.

                              Sbg global

I have been a long time member of SBG Global and just did a withdrawl for 10,000 and did not have a problem. Why are they rated so bad.... I have read the stories but they have been quick and easy for me so far.....

SBG and its affiliate BetRoyal, stole about $8K of mine, and more from about 20 others 2 years ago. (See the post by bigboydan.) It was a long story that was documented here at SBR. Made short, the story is that SBG does not like losing and is willing to freeze and then sweep an account arbitrarily.

Thankfully, SBR helped get some of us victims credits at another book that was new and trying to get going. Unfortunately, that book (BigJuicyOdds) failed before some of could get all our money back.

I do believe this is one of the 4 year old girl-type books out there. When she is good she is very good, but when she is bad.... yikes.
