Are there any books that still service USA? I have gone to several on the recommended list and keep getting redirected to a Homeland Security page. 5dimes did not have a problem, but I have a fear of placing money into account and having a problems later.

    What is the current law/jurisdiction?

There are several but best to leave them alone as they are all targets for Uncle Sam's crusade and your funds will remain at enhanced risk because of that. On top of that you'll have delays and high costs of moving funds in and out and unless you are big player that will eat up most of any profits you might make.

High costs for moving funds in and out? That's too general and sweeping of a comment. There are still free payouts for US customers at several shops (5Dimes, Heritage, BOL, etc.).

The other comment about what is "best" is also your opinion, so please don't state it as if it's fact. Obviously things have gotten worse for US residents, but for some of us, the reward still outweighs the risk.

Lastly, you should probably state that your comments are coming from a non-US resident who is so used to how much more smoothly things run for you that your opinion of US-facing books might be a tad skewed.

Youwager and Betus are 2 of the most underrated...Many years with both and not a single issue...Free payouts monthly and great bonuses without rediculous rollovers

Tommygun, at least Mastertvtech had some suggestions instead of a condescending graphic. I'm a new US user too and I'm sick of going through forums trying to find information and instead only finding people like you dumping on people and not helping. Docbarnes from what I've read so far either 5Dimes, Bookmaker, or Bodog seem to be the way to go (but not Bodog if you live in NY for some reason?). I have NO experience as I said before and if anyone wishes to contradict me PLEASE go ahead and do so, that's why I'm posting. But if you do contradict me then at least tell me what book you play otherwise your contribution is meaningless. Thanks to all those that are trying to help!

                  Hi Doc,

It's not illegal for you to make wagers.

Bookmaker's new domain is Bookmaker.eu. For a list of sportsbooks that accept US players, you can go to the SBR rating guide and sort by countries restricted, but you can also check out the books in SBR's recommended list.
