If they just voided the bet, it would be ok, completely understandable.
But they confirmed it was not an error, their livechat staff and managers, they have said "it will not be voided". And they have justified it with the lie "we are just adjusting markets because someone betted big on the other side of that bet". Is this a A+ Book atitude. Sounds more like a D-..

There has to be some level of accountability. When you report/question a line, and get a lines manager's assurance that the line is correct, the bet just has to stand, even if you get shown the door immediately afterwards. The bettor has done everything reasonably possible. If the lines manager, when specifically questioned (multiple times even), can't identify a bad line, he should just be fired. It's absurd for the book to place a higher level of responsibility on the customer than on the highest-level employee the book has.

FINALLY someone (rather then just ourself s) understands and as the COURAGE to say something "BAD" about this bookie

1 - If you cannot trust their managers, who can you trust in there?

        A+ house ???

2 - The so called "just clerks" have access to our passwords, but cannot be accountable for what they say?

        A+ house ???

I do not want to repeat all that as been said so far, but damm...
How can someone defend this attitude from a bookie??

If we (costumers) accept this bets being void this way, where ALL AS BEEN DONE TO ASSURE IT WOULDN'T, wow can we be sure than other bets won't, even if they look normal?

Front-line CS is pretty much universally retarded. Cris just has the worst of the worst. Whenever any front-line CS says anything, always take it with a big grain of salt.

Live chat should never require a password visible to employees. It's trivial to authenticate on login.

CRIS.Bookmaker continue to grow. I think they have the most stable banking relationships out there which means they are in good shape to process payments.

They need to keep their eye on customer service and dealing with off lines and shot takers.

They take 30$ to process payment, and they took almost 10 days to pay me. I have seen faster and much cheaper (often free) everywhere else.

Yes, they need to keep an eye on that. But costumers shouldnt "pay" because they have a bad service. If their highest responsable manager says the line is valid, he made it, so it must be valid. He cannot remember to re-check it after confirming it to dozens of players and void like it was nothing.

As for the Password, it“s pretty dangerous as many people use the same for everything.
I dont feel safe or confortable when asked to tell my password.

Overall I cant understand how can Betcris be an A+ book.

                Hi everyone,

Bill, is there any development on this case?

Did Betcris justified what they did? Any news?

                Cheers.

                  news from my end -

After a fair amount of arguing the bet was pushed so in the end I didnt end up losing out. I would have preferred them to honour their initial promises and to pay out but after not too bothered about it as am happy just to see my balance return to normal.

I agree, unless you count thousands of Sportsbooks, Betcris is no way on the top 1%

I“m guest in this forum since a couple of month - meanwhile i spend 1 minute to check the " SBR news" everyday“s morning. I love to bet and to gamble, just haven“t been too much sucssesful - but i“m satisfied with a narrow margin. Now i registered and will try to comment some of your posts by using my knowledge and my really weak english. Sorry for this, i“m not a native speaker. By the way - maybe you can help me to find the right words: How do you call a man who tried to fool somebody - but made a fool of himself?

I think it“s called a fool. But I am no Shakespeare, you can see that at google. Type "How do you call a man who tried to fool somebody - but made a fool of himself". It will direct you to some grammar forum or site for sure.

Search for "offtopic" for this kind of questions please.

Welcome to all the new guys in this thread.

Issues come up from time to time with every book. None are perfect. This book is the leader in Costa Rica without a close 2nd. Our office is close by and we have watched them grow over many years. Good, decent and honorable people. That's my opinion anyway.

4Eigner, I think the answer is; charlatan.

I would take your word, but they lied about the odd in question. It was a lie, they said they were balancing the markets.
                                This makes them not trustable.

The only problem here in this thread is the greed of the numerous Arbers lol.
They knew it is a bad line. If i respect a sportsbook, i forget it and don“t place a bet.

Of course those Arbers with their excellent english do not respect any books, why would they.
So they try to get a GO from the clueless livechat CS guys/girls, that have to listen to bullshit all day prolly. Every smart person would know that CS NEVER has the final word on a decision, and that no matter what they may tell you: the supervisor can cancell all these bets at free will, coz as said it is a bad line without any doubt.

Gamblers do not have a problem with that, Arbers that are stupid enough to bet the other side at different books can lose a shitload of money. Well too bad for you, arnie_marta, Maria and whoever LOL, lesson learned i hope..now get your head out of your ass and move on.
