    Do sports books profile you?
I remember years ago there was a sportsbook being hyped at MW called grand central sports, I remember putting 500 dollars in that book and my freind put a few hundred in that book.

fast forward about a month in, I was a underdog bettor and my freind liked betting favorites.

Somehow we were both up, so one day we are on the phone and he asked me who I liked I told him I liked the Bears getting 6 and he said now the bears are getting 7, I said where at?

    He said Grand Central
I said dude, I just refreshed
    He said me too.
We dcided to monitor this and every game, I was 1 point or 2 less, he was a point or two more, Now I know what you are all thinking, Switch accounts right, I bet on his, He bets on mine and we kil them, Well yes but at that point and time I was 24 years old, full of piss and viniger and I didnt know any better, what I would give now to be in that same position.

Anyway, my buddy posted pics we snapped of the diferent lines and posted them at MW, we ended up pulling our money out, I went with BetCris at the time and he went with heritage.

Grand central lasted a while and then they were out.

They were guilty of profiling us, they were tracking our betting patterns patterns to juice the line one way or another in there favor.

Do you think other books today do this?
Or has the Internet wiped out any trace of this disgusting practice?

      Yes absolutely books profile players.

Dual lines were very common back in the old days where books would have one line for the everyday losing customer, and a seperate line for those they considered to be sharp.

There are probably a few books still doing this these days, though I think a lot have stopped doing this...

I love seeing BodogBecky come into a thread and lie/dance around the dual line issue.

This was standard practice at Bowmans as well, usually after just a few bets placed.....

wow, gcs brings back a lot of memories..and yeah, some books do but most don't..the ones that do will normally start the new customers off on the square lines with the inflated favs but will switch you over quickly if they see you know what you're doing..

Everytime I goto make a bet a bodog, the line changes and I have to pay more juice. It happened when I went to take St. Louis today.

Pretty silly question. You answered it yourself in the OP.

Why have so many of us been booted/severely limited or suffered the dual line treatment, a la Bodog?

This is interesting, I have had the same problem. I thought it was fishy, started happening after my first two withdrawls.

no, but grammatically incorrect sentence structure might be, there should be ? at the end of that statement, as it was posed as a question.

Thank you for the grammer correction.
Lets let it end with that.
