    sports betting in america
so right now you can bet on-line if you live in NV with Leroy's.
Cantor sports is taking over the casino sports books and they are account betting service, and one of the largest financial software companies in the world.
it will soon be legal in Washington to play poker on-line.

cantor gaming has in game props betting, which is an opening to a new clientèle.

at cantor sports books you can see odds such as pinnacle and other offshore book odds.

our country has 0 money to pay for the poor.

The time is now and Cantor is the company big enough and CLEAN enough to pull it off. they are looked at as a trading company and they are squeaky clean. simply selling the idea that while watching a game you can bet on someone making a free throw or not. and making that sound so innocent.

with our country headed in a liberal direction the time has come.

on-line poker and sports gambling is here.

and its not going to be expensive like everyone first thought. (30 cent lines on everything).

the soft side of wacky props is going to get the gambling door open

the rule is going to be that you must bet with a licensed brick and mortar company in the U>S>

    the when is now
    \by July 2012 announced

    2013 first bet.

Of the four states that sports betting is legal the only state not to offer it is Oregon which had it for years but dropped it a few years ago.

And according to the decision of the supreme court those states will only be allowed to offer parlays and teasers, since they never offered full on sports betting they will only be allowed to offer what they offered prior to the federal ban.

Too many laws stand in place that need to be both overturned and rewritten in order for online sports wagering to happen, this would take at least 5 years before any progress was made. Also the process will be slowed down drastically by the sports leagues much like has been going on with Delaware and New Jersey if you have been following that for the last 3 years.

The Supreme Court denied their appeal with out ever hearing the case so Delaware never had a chance to argue it before the court, the Court also ruled with no comment which is interesting I think.

I agree the other three states are at a disadvantage but are much closer to Las Vegas style betting than other states.

Oregon never backed down from the NFL when they threatened to sue, they never offered bets on Blazer games when they took NBA bets.

i agree that it is a long process for sure.\

my point is that they are getting ready for legalization so when the laws are corrected it will happen immediately.

^^That's how uninformed you are. That is the poker bill that has a very good chance of passing sometime in the next 12 months. Yeah, the poker players don't give a **** about us.

I would be surprised if the status of sports betting changed at all in the next few years.

Its never going to happen unless the publically traded companies that control Vegas get to run it in the USA. Its not about the US getting tax money, its about the lobbyists from the said Vegas companies, NFL, NBA, MLB, lobbying against or for legalizing gambling. At this point in time none of the above seem to have the stomach to take on the issue, for whatever reasons. JMO.

Doubt sports betting (outside of Vegas) is legalized any time soon.

                            This is correct.

Part of the pitch that the PPA (Poker Players Alliance) uses is that Poker is a game of skill, unlike Sportsbetting and other forms of gambling.

The Poker lobby has no problem with throwing Sportsbettors under the bus.

Not gonna happen. Too many Christian moralists in both parties. Not to mention the heads of the major US sports - college and pro - would oppose it under the guise of integrity of the game. The best hope for US players is getting back to the pre-UIGEA days.
