    Setting up new account..bonuses?
About to set an account up with The Greek. Anyone know where I can find the best bonus? I see 21% sign-up up to $250 plus $25 from bigger bonus. Anyone know of anything better out there? Thanks

the very best bonus is low juice ... lasts a lot longer than a sign up bonus and worth heaps more in the long term

choose your bookies for the best betting value you can get, not for the bonus

as a general rule the more the bonuses, the more you pay in juice .., i.e. they get the bonuses back from you

RonMexico, Hareeba is right. Reduced juice is by far the best bonus you can get your hands on. There is no rollover, and over time it will save you more money than you would get from a deposit bonus. However, check out Bet Islands. They have a 100% FP bonus upon signup, and they've been discussing adding in some form of reduced juice (-107) for football season.

My advice to you is to avoid TheGreek. They are nothing more then racists.

Don't BETONLINE offer a reduced juice offer instead of a sign up bonus or you may get a reduced sign up bonus if opting for reduced juice. At least they did offer this at one stage.

OP, you are better off going for reduced juice than a bonus. Bonuses are nice but they are also fooling you in a way. However, it can depend on what kind of gambler you are. If you seldom place a bet say only bet when you're watching a game on tv or whatever, a bonus may be a better option because you're on a recreational gambler.

After saying that, if you are doing research and betting quite frequently, reduced juice is your best friend.

Whilst the best long-term bonus is low-juice, you could make the argument lower effective odds for the short-term could be obtained by taking the bonus offers at those books that offer full juice.

Yes, indeed that's true Santo. I'm not averse to taking bonuses at all, particularly if they can be used in a manner which one can turn them into cash 80% of the time without having to roll them over at the higher juice. But my principal point is that one should chose one's books for the value they offer in odds and lines rather than short term bonuses. (Unless of course you are purely a bonus whore.)
