Eurobet closed my account (for commercial reasons)
Today I received this email from eurobet:

    Dear EuroBet Client,

I am writing to inform you that your account with Eurobet has been closed. As of now, no further bets can be accepted and any recorded in error will be declared void, win or lose. This decision has been taken purely for commercial reasons.
In the event of you placing a bet indirectly with Eurobet in the future, we will reserve the right to void your bet.
Any funds currently in your balance have now been sent back to your registered card. Any outstanding Ante Post bets will be settled upon their maturity and any subsequent funds won will be sent back to your registered card.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact either myself or another member of the customer services team.

    Kind regards,
    Sam

They think you will win money off them > rational to take no bets from you.

Why can't these scumbags employ some real odds makers who research the markets they are in charge of and at least attempt to take on sharp punters? These book are all so ****** lazy these days. They just employ monkeys to copy lines from Betradar/Betfair. They really should be ashamed of themselves. Eurobet are one of the worst - but there isn't a UK bookmaker left with an ounce of credibilty anymore. They are all following the Bwin model.

They all do this, other than pinny and a couple of the asians. Clearly not an easy business model or they'd all be the same.

Count yourself fortunate to have been formally advised.

None of those Euro books (or any others for that matter) ever sent me any notification. I just discovered their actions by attempting to place bets and getting them reduced to bugger all.

anecdotally from posts elsewhere it seems it may have been a relatively large account cull akin to Stan James' recent move

Cashpoint and StanJames sent me a email to tell me that they closed my accounts, but William Hill just didn't accept any bets. I had to ask them why they didn't accept my bets. The first bet you think they are just updating the lines, but after the third bet you know that there is something wrong.

                    precisely my experience there too

I was a bit slow to realise it but after a couple of weeks, seeing max bet allowed on anything I looked at was $0.00 the penny dropped

A friend of mine recieved the same message. They closed his account according to rule6.2. All funds including his winnings was refunded to his moneybookersaccount.
