How long would you wait to use funds from a BETONLINE Check?

I received a payout via check from BetOnline.com.

How long would you wait before using the funds?

With all the talk of processors going down, etc...........does it take 2 weeks to clear?

Any info would be great.

Your bank will put a hold on the check when you deposit it. The hold depends on several factors, but since BetonLine checks are bold pastel oversized checks with "El Banco del Costa Rica" written in large letters across the top of the damn thing, your bank will probably give it 10 business days. But simply ask when you deposit and they will tell you how long of a hold it requires.

I agree with Branch just ask your bank but mine have held it for 2 weeks or 10 business days

if the check was drawn from canada like i recall, then i think my bank took 5-7 days to clear.. but i am talking 500 - 1000 (but i dont recall) . im sure ur talking quite a bit more?
