Wow. Feds trying to starve Sports Books off.
I was very exciting joining bodog a few months ago because of all the different deposit options. However, in just the last week, three of them have been taking away. First it was DigPin, then usemywallt and now mypaqline.

its a scary time out there. Pretty soon, the only way to deposit into sports books will be by **.

Yup, very true. All 3 have failed in the last 7-10 days.

It looks like it's all over.

Back in 2007, Neteller was raided and all the e-wallets and processors at the time headed for the hills. Books like Pinnacle and others left the US market. The only way to deposit offshore for the bulk of 2007 was ** and ** and that was it. Sound familiar? Here we are again and the same thing is happening. Processors and wallets are running and books are leaving the US market.

However as the months passed after the 2007 Neteller raid things changed and within a year processing was back to normal. It's going to be a shakeup and it is going to be a little crazy if you are in the US and want to bet offshore but things will adjust, evolve, and get back to normal. It's just going to be time. There is too much money in the US market for gaming to go away.
Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday.

Yeah I guess it is good for like myq since you can use ** on their site. But, bodog makes you withdrawal with them too. So Unless the SB change their policy's its going to be rough.

The last raid by the Maryland DOJ had an interesting twist in the story. I heard that the DOJ actually set up a payment processor and has been up and running for around 2 years. This has allowed them to learn how the sportsbooks, poker and other gambling entities make some of their payments. So the processing of withdrawals the way we had them has to change. How it will change no one knows yet but as soon as the US can monetize the revenue for themselves im sure we will be able to play poker and gamble online hopefully sooner than later.

Meanwhile, there was probably a terrorist cell right under their noses moving money that they ignored so they can shut down online gambling.

EXACTLY correct. The manpower hours and resources they are using for this nonsense can better be used in important things. Instead of setting upake processors that give people who WANT TO GAMBLE their money, they can be analyzing funding methods for Al Queda, Taliban, and other terrorist networks. It is such a waste and the American Public, not just those who gamble on the Internet, should be OUTRAGED at this waste of Governemnet resources.

So what, you want every department to deal with the same thing? Would you rather have it the CIA, FBI, ATF, DEA, ICE, and some secret government agency all work on the same thing? For **** sake, use common sense. They can branch out jobs to different departments.

The DOJs job is to enforce the laws. You really didn't think some branches under the DOJ would eventually come down on an illegal operation that brings in billions?

You're so biased on this subject that you need to get your head out of your ass.

I love gambling online as much as the next, but we all knew parts of it was illegal. Stop acting like a ten year old who is mad because you got caught by your parent doing something bad and is now grounded for it.

There is no way that DOJ can enforce, or even try to enforce, every Federal law. The administration prioritizes its law enforcement goals so that it can allocate its limited resources accordingly. And, IMHO, this DOJ's priorities are f**d up.

I hope you realize the Department of HOMELAND SECURITY, the agency behind this all important Sting and Bust, was SPECIFICALLY set up to fight terrorism. It did not exist before 9/11. It was Not set up to enforce gambling laws. And even though I may be a 10 year old, I'm smart enough to know that Gambling on the Internet is NOT illegal in the US for any player, unless you live in Washington state.

Looks like I jumped the gun a little bit. DigPn is not working at all for me, and their website is down. But myq is still up and running, you just can't get any withdrawals. But, I talked to bodog about this and they said its not a problem, you can just use a check or other options to withdrawal
