I think that Bodog will be seized soon and they know it. That's why they have changed their policies to 0 withdrawal methods.

Deposit options at this shop are horrible right now although a person I know got a big withdrawal within 2 weeks. I am happy this guy was wrong. Good Day!!

I personally don't have any TRUE evidence that it would be shut down anytime soon. But... even before this poster... I've had doubts about BoDog for many years. They only limit me on $500 plays. I'm not saying I go heavy all the time. But sometimes I like to have an opportunity to lay $1000 or $1500 a game. I don't like their rules or regulations. I don't know if it's just directed towards me or to other gamblers who like to place bigger wagers? For anyone who does have money in this book... I strongly recommend looking to play elsewhere such as 5Dimes, TheGreek, BetJamaica where you don't have to worry about their BOGUS rules. If they close down... so be it. They weren't worth much. Why SBR rates them so high??? I'll never understand it?

I don't know about that 2 week timeframe, but I think that Bodog is either going to pull out of the US market or be shut down by the end of July (and they are aware of the inevitable shut down). I'd be willing to wager a lot of money on this. They wouldn't be trying to not pay people like me if they were in it for the long haul and then pay me a fraction of my balance and then disable my account just because I am a winning poker player.

Well i found out after the April incident Matchbook had issues with 10 players that lived in NY getting $ to them so don't think it was because u were too much of a baller for them that they didn't want to pay u.
They closed your account because u publically talk sh-it about them on 10 threads and probably just gave them total attitude, why wouldn't they do this.

You are finally making an excellent point. Matchbook had difficulty paying their NY customers. Their response? STOP TAKING DEPOSITS FROM THEM! That is more of a reasonable response than taking deposits knowing that you won't pay out.

I think Matchbook pulled out of the US a few month before the April DOJ, so yes they due not accept deposits from US players.

Yes, I do. I had a five figure balance with them and they threatened me with non-payment unless I changed my state of residency (illegal) or have my money sent to a 3rd party in another state that extracted half of my balance in fees. Stay away from them.

Bodog and any other US offshore book has the same minimum risk to go down as the rest of the books, not sure why some ppl believe that this was never going to happen to them just because they bet in XXXXXX book rated TopA, yes a good review can mean good CS, methods of withdrawal, friendly site, etc but at the end if the book is making tons of money and the feds wants to take them out, I believe they can.

Yes, I am denying that I "spammed" Covers recently. I did, however, tell my true story over there. There's a big thread over there right now about how crooked Bodog is. Go check it out.
