How Can Bookmaker still be A+ rated?? Shouldn't they get bumped down a tad due to US DOJ/FEDS shutting down there original domain?? Just having them on that list that the DOJ put out should have them downgraded IMO....Could be a nightmare for SBR like BetEd was on Covers...

Dude, if I opened the Robzilla Sportbook tomorrow, but I paid SBR, I'd be rated A+ too.

I don't believe the management of Bookmaker is instructing the clerks to lie. I think the clerks are making mistakes. That's my opinion based on yrs of experience with them and other books. These clerks are not as bright as we are. They will guess at things that we are smart enough to figure out, and sometimes their guesses will be wrong. The US government has wasted a lot of money in order to be able to announce they have "seized" a domain. We don't have to punish this book further by lowering their rating. They are big with a lot of money with the willingness to resolve disputes fairly. I don't care if I have to enter bmaker.ag rather than bookmaker.com.

no reduced juice, even 20 cent mlb moneylines, doesn't offer free payout, 100$ b2b fee, disgusting software and skin design.
is being "a safe book" enough to be an A+ book? if yes, %80 of UK books should be A+ because they are legal and secure companies. they can't close the shop suddenly but if Bookmaker or Greek close, nobody can do anything in this case.
I have never had an account...boring place.I don't care sbr's raitings. A- book betcascade has turned to scam which is a F books right now also some of C books escape frequently

I agree, if I establish a scam book maybe I can get C raiting

A books can turn into F books, and F books can turn into A books. We are dealing with probabilities here. A books are a lot less likely to be a problem for us than C books which are a lot less likely to be a problem than F books. There are no guarantees, but past behavior with players as summarized in the ratings seems to me to be the best predictor of future probabilities for problems.

I agree there is conflict of interest, but the only other alternative would be for SBR to charge the players for the service. I rather keep the service free, and let the better books advertise here. Maybe bookmaker should be an A or A- and SBR keeps them at A+. Giving ratings is not an exact science and advertisers may get the benefit of the doubt. But if bookmaker started desrving a much lower rating, SBR would certainly downgrade them and not let them advertise. If SBR kept them at a high rating, this site would start losing a lot of traffic and the value to the other advertisers would drop.

The book itself is reliable and the lines are what you would expect, but the customer service is not very good. As long as you are able to avoid those guys it's fine.

No book that accepts US players can possible be A+ in this climate.

Have to agree there, that being said there are A+ books out there that did not take the risks of using US processors, and will not be under US jurisdiction.
