Good thing I had signed up before this enactment. Another book down, who's next?

Link? Assuming this is the same 'no new USA players' thing as the others? Surprised Jazzette would be taking new US players on some sites but not others.

Really not surprising that all books associated with the Jazzette platform would follow suit even if not directly owned by Jazzette.

It's time to sign up with every single book out there even with no intention of depositing right now, just so I'm not considered a new account if I want to play there sometime later.

I was never going to be a Hollywood customer, but the defection of books from the US market is alarming.

U.S. players better get used to it. This is what happens when a country is going to get their credit rating downgraded.

Hello...While we were caught of guard as much as anybody when our software provider (jazzette) made the decision to stop accepting NEW US players, the fact is yes, existing players are free to wager, withdrawal, and deposit as you always have... even HedgeHog. We expect this decision to be only temporary and in the mean time, we continue with our highly unique betting, deposit and contest offers.

It's likely this is to avoid all the poker players that need a home. They aren't worth as much as sports and eat up the rec sports guys balances. The sister brands like Linesmaker and Holly are in a holding pattern until September. They are expecting to take football bettors late summer.

They are on the merge network which is still open to US players... Why would US player have sign up at Hollywood type book, when they have plenty on options on the network that don't have the reputation associated with Jazette, better promotions like rakeback, and those likely looking for a new place poker would likely never heard of Hollywood Sports?
i.e. I seen many people recommended joining sites that are on merge but never seen Hollywood's name come up...

The writing is on the wall. Either pay the crooks at the U.S. Treasury Department an agreed upon "tax charge" or get your operations out of America. Like everything else here; only the too big to fails; in this cae; the largest off shore books; will survive in America. Americans will slowly be coached as to what sites they can use. "land of the free"?
