Thanks Pic! We just spoke to Russ mgt. To summarize, BetRuss is going to operate as Looselines in the Jazz building and be under the ABC/Jazz (DPT Sports) unbrella. They will move to -110 today.

Does this mean an upgrade from their c- to the B that looselines has?

BetRuss accounts acquired by DPT Sports Group

BetRuss (SBR rating C-) accounts acquired by DPT Sports Group

BetRuss.com now redirects to LooseLines (SBR rating B-). [iSBRFORUM]Looselines[/iSBRFORUM] is a part of the group of sites that include better known B rated books ABCislands and Jazz Sports. BetRuss management tells SBR that the decision to move under Looselines was made because the BetRuss brand and its marketing team was "fighting an uphill battle" due to the stigma of the Absolute Poker controversy. BetRuss was founded by a former Absolute Poker manager. Looselines will be financially backed by DPT Sports but operate independently with its own lines and management. Looselines will move from the -108 lineset that was offered until today to BetRuss standard -110 vig. The book, which will focus on recreational players, has been lowered to B- as it adapts to the BetRuss staff and operating policies. Looselines management tells SBR that the migration was already completed in the middle of the night.

BetRuss is off-line. Looselines is at B-. If Looselines settles in smoothly it may receive the same rating as the other DPT books. It's natural to expect a few hiccups with new mgt., policies and software.

Interesting. BetRuss said they expected LooseLines to start off servicing all the players that are there now. It does make sense that the sharper players get moved out asap.

I had recently withrawn all of my money from Betruss because of lowered limits.

I just asked them if they would increase my limits, if I redeposited, since they have been taken over by Looselines.

                They said no.

My Looselines account was moved to ABC/Jazz.

The good news is that ABC/Jazz are showing the same reduced juice that I had at Looselines.

ABC mgt. said that anyone who was on -108 can log on through ABC account and will be grandfathered in at that linset.

Does this move puts Betruss at a more stable position financially and can they be trusted longterm. Unlike the Lazerwager tanking, during their brief stint during football season

BetRuss is essentially gone. What you have is an ABC/Jazz backed book that will run day to day like BetRuss was planning. If there is something you liked at Russ then you should be fine at Looselines.

One thing to watch for is how Looselines books action now. If BetRuss was giving a lot away because they were knew, I would expect that to get cut back. We have seen it before where new books link up with old and go red fast and have to explain their model.
