    SBR Blocks Thread ??
Someone started a thread about some deposit method at BetOnline and it was xxxxxx outed and the thread is now CLOSED. I have no idea what it was, but the player said it was amazing.

I have never seen SBR do this and I hear that other forums do this constantly and that is why I love being at SBR. I suppose to SBR credit they still allowed this to be up, although this could have been a mistake as well.

I hope this doesn't get taken down before someone can let me know what the hell is going on and now I'm curious as hell as what kind of deposit method this is.

For some time now, SBR has been editing posts about specific deposit/withdrawal method at specific Books. So it should come as no surprise that they'll pull a thread that does the same.

Nonsense. There is unreliable information AND nonsense in just about every thread.

HedgeHog is absolutely correct with his post. This has been going on for some time now at the request of the books themselves and will continue for the foreseeable future.

A few of us Mods and Admins have made comments about this in various threads and provided explanations as to why.

If someone requires info about deposit or withdrawal methods for a specific book, the best thing to do is contact the book directly. Failing that, PM one of the frequent contributors to the Sportsbook sub-forum whose opinion you respect.

Or continuing on in the old manner is how you contribute to the elimination of the few remaining processing options that offshore books have left.

Seriously though, saying I got a withdrawal from ** from book xxxxxx isn't some great surprise to the feds. Or I deposited by CC to xxxxx.

It's definitely not a great surprise to the Feds but it's not really a surprise to fellow posters either. Saying "I received a withdrawal for x amount within x amount of time from x book" conveys the same info: You got paid. Saying "I deposited x amount to x book and placed a wager the same day" also gets your point across and respects the wishes of the sportsbooks you're conducting business with.

Plus there's the whole issue that arises when people are posting their bank names although I'm hoping after the events of the past week they begin to realise why that may not be the wisest thing to do.

Fair enough. I guess better safe than sorry is a good motto here.

I'm fairly certain the feds ASSUME that there are customers at every bank who are depositing and withdrawing funds from their bank account to gamble online. Posting that I got a check from a certain book in X amount of time isn't tipping anyone off.
