My bodog check just bounced

I deposited a 3k ***** in my ***** and it just bounced. This is making very nervous, has anyone else recently withdrawn money from bodog?

i just got a xxxxx from bodog on monday...took less then a week to get here, and when i depoed it the xxxxx clear immediately! ive gotten several xxxxxx from bodog without a problem(knock on wood) tho all my cashout have been small...no more then $500...ive noticed that most of the people that are having problems with bodog xxxxxx are cashing out large sums of money(2k and up), also iam not sure if your bank has anything to do with it...i use a credit union, all my xxxxxxxx is free and they have less restrictions when it comes to depositing in books(best way of banking if you ask me) and clearing xxxxxxs...thats odd that your xxxxxx bounce at *****, cuz the bodog xxxxxx that i just cashed said "*****" right on the top lmfaooooo yours could be different...i would just find it funny that ******** would bounce their own xxxxxx lol

they are good dont worry just a processor issue and u will get your bounce charge back as well.

nothing clears immediately on their side. If you deposit and they clear it it still takes a few days to hit their bank and back. It still could bounce and come back out of your account. Just like if you do a instant deposit with a sportsbook. They clear it but it still could bounce and it takes them a week or so to find out.

the problem is here everytime something bounces in your bank it goes as a mark for you. When we deposit checks in our account that are bouncing we are constantly putting our accounts at risk for closure and further scrunity at later times. Just putting the amount back in your account with a fee to cover the charge doesnt get cover it anymore with me. I had a bank account 3 years ago close a account on me because i put 3 checks in 3 weeks that bounced from sportsbooks because of their processers. Yes they covered the 30 dollar charge on each but it was a pain in the ******* ass opening a new account and transfering everything because of their mistakes. Just be careful.

nothing clears that fast trust me. If it bounces in a week or so they will yank that money back.

Whenever i cash a check i always way a couple weeks before using the $$$ even if it says its cleared just in case. And if possible use a second bank acct for this stuff. and just write a check here and there from the second acct.

I have a separate account I use just for gaming/poker/wagering. If something happens to it, I just close it and move to a new one. Pain in the ass, but that's the environment we play in now and with that goes a certain degree of risk.

That's smart to keep a separate account. As far as holds go, they are usually like 2 weeks to a month and for the offshore checks you should wait 2 weeks to a month after depositing before you touch the funds anyway.

All books have bounced checks since UIGEA.

And if the USA govt legalizes anything it will be only poker. In fact if they do legalize poker, the bill will likely have language in it demanding a clamp down on offshore sports gambling. The past 2 years they have tried to push through poker only bills that also had language that demanded a clampdown on internet sports gambling. When you hear about the US government legalizing online gambling, they are talking about online poker, not sportsbetting.
