SBRtv conducted an interview with Professor I. Nelson Rose, a world-renowned authority on gambling law.

This initial interview is in three parts, and Professor Rose has agreed to do follow-up interviews to address issues of interest and questions posed by SBR posters. So if you have any question at all about the legalities of online sports betting, please post them in this thread, and we will try to address them in future interviews with Professor Rose.

In Part 3, Professor Rose discussed the practical ramifications of the UIGEA, and touched a bit on what the future might bring over the next few years.

Good interviews, but can't wait to see the one with answered questions from SBR posters. Even with the UIGEA in place people should feel safe online gaming as long as you are with a reputible book as there is no law that makes it explicitly illegal.

is he saying that sports gambling can be enforced even in other countries, certainly glad in canada we have gone to this extreme although it is still considered a grey zone

the leagues are against it , yet they have no problem playing games in england, which has shops and online, and i know they don't take those games off the boards, like the raptors and the nets was available for live betting at bet365

The reason the leagues support fantasy sports is because they make money off of selling the stats. It's hypocrisy at it's finest.
