How paranoid are US banks these days?
Checks or wire that is the question! I guess one has to do it for about half and half if one has accounts in dozen books. I have heard that biggest banks like the Skank of America and Chase have become extremely paranoid about transactions that are possibly related to offshore gambling. About Wells Fargo I don't know . Smaller banks probably are more tolerant towards all this. Of course we all should use the M G and W U but if one wants to withdraw mid 4 figures for 3 different books that is not an option.

While the state of Washington has put gambling related income on the same level with murder, rest of the US still somewhat stays within a reason.

I know that good books use 3 party processors from Europe so checks do clear and banks most of the time don't have problems with that. One thing is sure- one must have accounts at least in 3 different banks

Any bad experiences with this issue?

if the u.s really wanted to stop online gaming wouldn't they just block the servers or isp , this is just a game of cat and mouse, the government agents are in place pulling in there 60k , if they simply stopped transactions there would be alot a feds out of work. They catch a few here and there and then go back to the government and ask for more money

It must depend on the bank. I've never had a single issue with my large, but regional, bank chain.

You mean to block internet like China and Iran do? Well that is unconstitutional and besides people would find the way to get pass that. This supposed to be the land of the free! At least it once was.

Indeed, the punters would find a way to place their bets.

Obviously the government has it's priorities. Who cares about the Madoff's of the World when there are some many real bad Americans betting on games. Let's make that a priority.

Land of the Free? Not so much anymore me thinks.

Find a local friendly credit union and do most of your banking there. I've never had any problems.
