    Betus.com
Been checking this forum out for the last few weeks or so, and I noticed that whichever way the spread is going, BetUs not only moves it faster, but by .5 or 1 MORE than the majority of books. They also don't list the games for the next day until every game on the current day is finished. Sometimes not even until after midnight.

Is Betus.com just a really bad site or something?

I once deposited 4 figures into betus (before my SBR days) and man wish i hadnt of They have some sweet lines there but are renowned slow/non payers and their online CS is absolute rubbish...I believe someone in one of the other forums recently was trying to gather players for a class action lawsuit against betus (not sure how thats going)....I hope that says enough...GL

I played here without any problems, however I wouldnt recommend them to anyone, and there are dozens of threads on this forum which show why not to bother with them.

One of the biggest scamdicappers out there has been promoting BetUs for years, now he has coupled them with Oddsmaker.com for advertising.Proceed at your own risk.

I have been with them for about 4 years and have no complaints. Payouts were only delayed by the submission of the required paperwork.

I just joined this site, so after posting this I came across the SBR reviews. I'm definitely going to switch books at this point. Their line is horrendous since I've been comparing it to other sites over the last few days.

              Thanks for the advice guys.

I have been using BetUS for about a solid year now and I have been slow-paid once. I can tell you that yeah, they handle the lines very well, and put them up pretty early too, but I'm sure at some point they may try and get me eventually too. So while I want to tell you that they are an acceptable book, you can't go wrong maybe taking on another book due to the many complaints logged here from other who have also used them.

I really hope they drop the scam tactics I hear about and become solid, there is a lot of potential in that book

That is the thing- their tactics! Their tactics is to rob 1% of biggest winners out blind. Top 1% of winners win around 50% of it all.
Since 95% of the public will lose in a long run ( that's a fact) their tactics work and business shows profit. This kind of thing only works for so long. Yet they advertising heavily and so far so good. They still can find new sheep's to slaughter. Some day they will end up in a dumpster just like the Oddsmaker.

They deal dual lines so there's a good chance you can't even bet those .5 and 1 point better lines. In my case, immediately after I deposited I was switched to a different line feed.

One of their other stunts is to put up a line where they will only take one sided action. For example a public NBA team like the Lakers is playing a team like Charlotte. Most books have +6.5 and BetUS will have Lakers -7 Charlotte +7. You try to bet Charlotte and they say "sorry the line has changed it is +6.5." You try to bet the Lakers and the -7 goes through.

I just requested a payout from Betus.com and they are asking for front and back copies of my CC, and a copy of the front of my drivers license. Is this safe, or are they going to steal my identity?

I had to go through that process as well, and as far as I know it's pretty safe, and I did it a year ago...so you should be ok; just anticipate a slow pay though.

I didn't sign up there via JM but its the same idea. I signed up there several years ago well before I'd ever heard of JM. Made a deposit via Neteller without any affiliate code or anything like that but I was immediately switched to a different line set.

their lines on favorites suck, and they change quick. they still take ************, which I guess is a plus, well for them, but after hearing all the negative comments I'm looking around for another. just signed up with betjam so hopefully this works out. I haven't withdrawn so I don't can't comment on that. but I used to be with sportsbook.com and heard horror stories about withdrawls but with me they were relatively quick and painless. so you never can tell, but with negative comment after comment you have to be kind of leary about the site. better be safe than sorry.

they were the first book i deposited with (before i knew about sbr). Later I found out how crappy they were and withdrew as soon as I could. Never had a single problem with them, but the reputation scared me away. I was a big fan of the dog lines that they offered, as the favorites on the site seemed to be consistently a point higher.

My buddy got into the game last year and signed up with them without asking me. We'd talk everyday about the games and the prices/lines that we got the games at. I was at bookmaker, he was at betus. We typically played 3 games a day and there was only one or two times that he got the better line throughout the baseball season. For example, I'd get something at -135, he'd be at -155. I get under 9 at -105, he'd get under 9 at -120. It was night and day with the differences, and it was costing him money whenever he bet.

Took me 4 to 5 months to get a couple grand out of my account. Only after 100's of calls did I finally get paid vis check, avoid betus at all costs

I just wanted to add my .02--I've used Betus just over five years now, and as far as withdrawing, I've had absolutely zero issues. The best I can remember, the longest wait I had was five days to have money (it's always been at least $1,000) in my bank account. I play here and there with other SBs, and quite often the spreads for the favorite are .5-1 point higher, but conversely, this works in favor of the dog. By no means am I arguing with anyone else's experience with these guys, but I just thought it fair to give them at least one positive vote.
