What are the chances that Matchbook pay player balances? I understand there are no guarantees.

#2There´s always been a bit of mystery surrounding MB financially. But wouldn´t it be a bit too crazy if the new owners has bought the business and decided to leave the US just to find out they can´t afford it?
Let´s hope that ain´t the case, but you never seem to know with the offshores...Comment -

#8Logically speaking, yes they will.
The new owner would not have made the investment only to face the terrible publicity that slow pays (or worse) would cause.
I am not in the US but withdrew about half my balance, it was paid to my Neteller in around 12 hours.Comment -

#9I too would be interested to see when people in US start to get paid. I put in my request early yesterday morning. Balance still shows full in acct.
I think it would be nice if a specific thread for US payment information for matchbook players be started and pinned, I am sure there would be quite a few people interested in this information.Comment -

#10"Logically" is what you're going with concerning MB? What have they done "logically" in the past year? This new "logical" owner bought a company and kicked out the majority of his clients yesterday. Explain how "logical" this guy is again.Comment -

The old Matchbook management failed to capitalise on a captive market in terms of betting exchange and made several bad decisions which alienated market makers and failed to attract enough of the $100 -$200 bettors which should be the lifeblood for genuine liquidity.
The new management have decided to go in a different direction, time will tell if they are able to carve out a niche for themselves.Comment -

#16This thread need to be changed to will Matchbook pay its US customers, for right now at least its business as usual for the 20% of international customers they have but the 80% that they just kicked to the curb and informed they can only withdraw by CC are understandably worriedComment -

#17Making players withdraw to their cc (who never deposited by cc) does not make sense. Is it even possible? I am not sure if merchants are allowed to put a refund back to a cc that was never used to purchase goods from them in the past.Comment -

#19Whether they made money for the last xx months is kinda irrelevant when you have new owners. I doubt the purchase price included any cash.Comment -

#24Now MB instantly and with no prior warning sells their site apparently completely to uh "new" unknown owners (hell who the **** were the "old" owners) who instantly eliminate 80% of their customers and offers to pay them for some unknown reason by ******* CC rather than wire or b2b (wtf?) and then seeds the markets for 30k on both sides NBA with 1-2 cent lines (basically running a near-juiceless book).
Does any of that seem logical?Comment -

#25It doesnt matter that there was some talk on here for 2 years nobody knew anything solid until a couple weeks ago when the "rumor" threads started on here which MB still denied. It also doesnt matter since the real reason they didnt tell anybody was because they didnt have the money to pay them out, this sale basically involved giving the new owners matchbook in exchange for paying back the money they owed to their clients. Hopefully the new owners are able to do that, only time will tell.Comment -

#28I have refrained from posting because the dimwits on these forums are beyond belief. Same shit when Pinnacle left the U.S. market. Pinnacle is going to stiff blah blah blah.
Matchbook has paid me over $200,000 in the past 18 months. Are they going to stiff you shit heads that are owed a few pennies? No!
If you believe the "new owners" just started running Matchbook yesterday you're dumber than I thought.Comment -

#30CC withdrawal or DC withdrawal? Which is better? If your DC is linked to a checking account, then I guess the funds will go directly to your checking account.Comment -
