Sportsbetting.com: >5 weeks after bouncing check, still haven't made good
As I noted in a previous thread, the folks at Sportsbetting.com still have not made good on the two checks they bounced more than 5 weeks ago, totaling $2500.

Every time I call, I get the same response: (1) they see that my information has been forwarded to the relevant department; (2) the withdrawal team is investigating my status; (3) I should be patient and wait for this to get resolved; (4) the issue has been "escalated"

Literally - the exact same four points in every phone call. And it's a call center in India that I'm talking to - not the SportsBetting.com crooks directly.

Not even factoring in the horrible inconvience of depositing checks only to have them bounce (which - among other things - is bad for your credit rating) and penalty fees ... it's the complete inability to have any contact with the culprit organization that's the most infuriating.

Never EVER (ever, ever ...) put $ into this black hole.

I have the same problem with Superbook.com. I believe they are from the same family of books. Everytime I contact them they tell me the issue will be forwarded to their supervisor and I will get an email with an update within 24-48 hours. This has been going on since middle February.

Companies screw up with processing checks. I get that. It happens. Life goes on.

But leaving people that you screwed over completely in the dark, with no line of communication whatsoever for a whole month? That's absurd.

How much money does it cost them to have even 100 people come to a message forum and get scared off their service by reading these horror stories? Say that happens with even 5 gamers - shouldn't that negative revenue impact and the multiplier affect of one really pissed off customer be enough incentive for the powers that be to get off their ass and handle it?

I never would have bothered to whine about any of this if i even had the slightest bit of confidence that it was being handled. But they (1) bounce two checks that were delivered extremely late to begin with; then (2) remove any info about your wagering history from the site, so you don't have a shred of proof about anything; then (3) make it so you can't contact anyone that has even the slightest bit of information about your specific situation; (4) not send a single update, apology or any form of communication at all (but rather, give the call center folks a very limp-dick script to keep feeding you).

Not just bad ethics, but bad business. What exactly are these guys GOOD at?
