Skeptical is good , but no one is trying to sell you anything--so why be so defensive. Fact is no one is trying to convert you as Heritage picks its own players (obviously all losers in your "all knowing" mind). Could care less what you believe, but really, what are you basing it on?

My experience with Heritage is similar to some others here. About a year ago they sent me a $500 free play offer (I had a dormant account there for a few years). I took them up on it and started to play. The vast majority of my bets involve all sorts of teasers, some other parlays, and some 1h college straight bets (no steam plays).

After a few months I had met all the rollover requirements and was up about $2500. At that point they put a $100 max on ALL my bets. I continued to play and ran the account up to $4600. At that point they disabled the account and had me call CS. When I called they transferred me to "Mike" at risk management. Mike told me they were closing my account because they really didn't want my type of play, and they would send me the checks, MINUS THE $500 THEY ADVANCED ME. I said whoa, whoa, what are you talking about, that $500 was free play not an advancement of any kind. He said (rudely) that it was an "advancement". I figured, let me get the bulk of the money and I can work on that $500 later. But when the checks came they were for the full amount (but it was really bush league on their part to try something like that).

People have to keep in mind that it's an adversarial relationship between them and us. Their business plan has, as their primary objective, to separate us from our money, and our objective should be to win their money. Simple as that! All the free turkeys at Thanksgiving, hams at Xmas, and other "perks" are just marketing ploys to make you feel good. But if, in their judgement, you threaten their bottom line, it's good bye. And you know what, I don't blame them (it's just business).

With all do respect, and I enjoy your posts in the Think Tank, you were hitting Heritage with Wong Teasers and almost nothing else (certainly no straight action to speak of). This is no different than the OP concentrating solely on weak HT lines. But as you say, they paid you in full to leave so no hard feelings on either end.

You're mistaken on the type of teasers I bet. All BS (Wong) teasers since 1994, 610-236-3 for 72.1% (hardly the holy grail). Books can adjust against teasers, like Pinny does, it's not about me betting teasers per se, it's the totality of the bets that they perceive threaten their bottom line.

Don't get me wrong, Heritage is as good as many others books. But like many, they are thin skinned when it comes to winning players. If you've played there for years and continue to win, and they haven't taken action against you, God Bless!

I decided to send Heritage an E-mail and was curious about a few things. I appreciate the feedback and this is the e-mail I received from them.

Thanks for your email. You have been a loyal client of ours for a long time
now and we know you post on SBR so you do deserve an explanation.

Our average client makes between 80 and 100 bets per month. The first client
in question made just 10 plays last month. All 10 plays were on ½ time lines
where we were a bit out of line. We don't mind being hit when we are out of
line but we would prefer it be by a client who gives us other play and not just
sit and wait for us to be slow to move.

Josh, we save 0 dollars by making this client non-recreational. Someone else
is going to hit us when we are off on our number. Again we just prefer it to be
a loyal client who regularly plays here rather than someone just looking to take
advantage. The reason we reduced this clients limits is so when he did play a
soft number his bet would be small enough so we didn't have to move the line and
then our loyal clients could benefit by that same soft number.

The second client you asked about was mainly playing correlated parlays. Most
books won't take these plays but we do as a courtesy for our loyal clients. We
don't mind if an average player of ours "get's the best of it" on 1 or 2 parlays
per week however if we get a client who only looks to take advantage of this
"perk" with no other play then we are going to show him the door.

Josh, winners are part of the business. Any successful book maker knows you
must manage professionals not get rid of them. The accounts we are speaking
about are not professionals. They are just clever guys who found a weak spot
and wanted to take advantage of it without giving other play. We don't blame
them for that but as I said before these weak spots are for our loyal clients
not guys looking to beat our system.

I hope this answers your question. We remain 100% committed to providing the
best service in the business to our loyal clients (winners and losers).
Sometimes we have to make tough decisions to do this. We do have a business to
            run.

Take care and continued good luck.

            Mike

Many people don't understand the nuances of different books. They simplistically measure every book by the same standard, without making any effort to try to understand what each book is about. Heritage is a very different kind of book. The human element of treating each other with respect, dignity, and integrity plays little or no role at other books, but it features prominently at Heritage. It expresses through generosity, and through an expectation that we play the game fair and square. If you want to come in like a shark and chase every drop of blood in the water, that's not going to fly. Why would that matter? You can do so elsewhere, so you don't need Heritage for that. The OP had his limits cut to $500. I'm sure that if he wants to bet more than just slow moving 2H lines, that limit can be removed. This is a great book, and as long as you give them a fair shake they won't mind if you win (in spite of what people who don't play there are telling themselves). Bottomline? This book will treat you like a king. In return they just expect you to not act like a beggar (which may be hard for some).

Bottomline: Use anything above a dolphin's intelligence level and you will be shown the door

Gamblers look for the best bets, let me correct that, gamblers that have any money left to their name look for the best bets, the rest are broke and on here stiffing ppl on SBR points bets. Im sure if you fuckin just picked the wrong side everytime and never thought about what you were betting your action would be much more appreciated by Heritage. Moral of the story: Grow a set of balls Heritage! When a guy wins treating him like shit bc he bet a halftime line you guys moved slow on or a correlated parlay that your software allows is ridiculous, you get paid 8% more when you win than when I win, if you cant take bets confidently with that edge then close up shop and get in an alley and suck dicks for a living bc theres 1000s of bookies in the world that can. Pinny charges half yalls juice, takes the sharpest and largest action and is the biggest sportsbook in the world.

I can tell you right now, I'm not too pleased that a fellow bettor, for all intents and purposes, cut and pasted my post to the management of a sportsbook.

This "Mike" went to great lenghts to identify me (us) as "clever guys" (I guess as opposed to "dullards"). Well "clever" according to Webster simply means Skillful, smart, sly, or adroit. Hey, I don't mind being classified as "clever". But it's clear "clever" isn't what they're looking for.

"Mike" said I was taking advantage of their CPs (which I guess are meant only for their loyal squares). Well anyone who has played there knows they've got the CP software screwed down about as tight as any one else. In fact the parlays I bet at Heritage I was able to bet at several other places as well. It's the same old story with these guys, they put up lines for parlays or teasers and if you lose, fine, but if you win, shame on you for taking advantage of them!

Lastly, he didn't address his blatant attempt to steal $500 from me (saying the $500 freeplay was an "advancement"). There's no doubt in my mind had I not pitched a bitch, they would have kept the $500 (there was no mistake about what he meant, he said it twice).

100% agree, I mean just bc parlays are lightly correlated doesnt mean youre going to be profitable over the enormous juice these books charge, fukin acting like 8% juice instead of 10 is free money unfukinreal. Of course if you do win its booohoooohoooo he beat us with correlated parlays oh poor heritage had a guy win what are they gonna do

Meanwhile 10 of their customers are blowin their balance in their dealer always gets a 20 version of blackjack
