    Deposit Issues/US
I have been surfing this forum for the last couple weeks and its great. I realize there are other threads with similar topics but I would like to talk to someone who could inform me a little bit more.

I have had issues depositing recently. I don't want to join too many books because I don't want my info spread out and I don't want people calling me left and right. My main deposit option is credit card but is it's continually declined. I've thought about using either of those gift cards (WWW, visacards, etc) but I'm not 100% sure yet. Being in the US, what site do you recommend and what deposit option? I hear alot about how Western Union works great but is that process difficult? I've never actually gone through a western union. thanks all!

Of the two, ** or **, Money Gram, I prefer Money Gram. It is cheaper, although I always get the fee refunded. As long as you deposit $300 or more, most books will refund the fee. It is simple to use. Just ask the book you plan to deposit with what you need to do and they will give you the info. Most will email you the info. I believe one place actually made me call, but everywhere else they have emailed me the instructions. After you deposit with **, you call or email the book with your account number and the control number ** gave you. It usually takes anywhere from 15 - 60 minutes for the money to show up in your account.

Straight cash with **, most of the books have you send it to the same place.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum sir

Their are a few viable books out there that still accept U.S. players ************. Here are just a few I can think of off the top of my head.

        Intertops
        BetEd
        Carib
Bodog (at least they did about 2 weeks ago)
        Youwager.com
BetOnline (You need to phone in your transaction)

Please keep in mind that U.S. restrictions will force the books to have you send in your paperwork before withdrawing and in some cases even before you start playing (starting to become a common practice these days really).

Also, You might want to consider using Echecks. If you decide to use that method of deposit, here are a list of books that offer this payment solution.

        BetJamaica ($300 max./14 day hold)
        5Dimes ($300 max./14 day hold)
        Skybook ($300 max./14 day hold)
        BetEd ($1,100 max./14 day hold)
Bodog ($2,000 max./14 day hold, but you have to have an account with the prior to the law change)

If you want to avoid all the hassles that I've stated above, then I'd use either [iSBRFORUM]**[/iSBRFORUM] or [iSBRFORUM]**[/iSBRFORUM]

Is **....moneygram.com? I'm looking at this website and the process looks pretty simple and quick. When you are filling out the forms, etc do the 'agents' or 'tellers' ask you a bunch of questions like who its going to, etc? The reason I ask is cause I hate when tellers ask where the check came from.

If you deposit via MB, do you guys normally get your earnings via check? Or back through MB?

          i appreciate the help...

Just go to a local grocery store or Walmart or Longs and they'll have a Moneygram phone in there. Pick it up, get connected to an employee there and the process couldn't be simpler. Give the cash to the cashier and they'll process it for you. Depends on the location too, they have cash limits. Like here, at Long's the maximum I can send in a day is $2,999, but down the street at Lucky's, it's $1,999 max per day.

As for ** asking questions, LOL, nope. Usually I am telling the Wal-Mart employee how to enter the form so my information is pulled up quicker. They are just kids, usually, and could care less. The only questions are on the form and you get those answers from the Book.

As for a withdrawal, I have deposited with ** and withdrawn with a check before. I have deposited with a check and withdrawn with ** before. I have never run into the issue of having to withdraw only through **, because I deposited that way. However, I have only withdrawn via ** or check.

                  Yes it is sir (moneygram.com).

If you deposit into Matchbook via Moneygram, you will get your withdraw either by check or you can do a book-to-book transfer.

Also, You can use your credit card on either Moneygram or Western Union's website. So that might be another payment solution you might want to consider sir. Just keep in mind that you can't tell them it's for a gaming at all.

                    dan,

is it possible to do everything online on ** or **'s website? i just want the easiest, most hassle-free option of depositing. if it can be done online through a credit card, is there any reason to go in person to a walmart, or agent's actual location?

To be honest with you sir, I really don't know the answer if it is or not. However, I would be lead to believe you could go that route as long as you don't tell either one of those services it's for a gaming transaction.

I waited for Dan's answer before I replied. Just in case he knew for sure. I remember looking into this a while back and for some reason I decided against it. I know it costs more and maybe that was the only reason, but I feel like there was something else I just didn't like. Anyway, you can always try and set up the account and see what it tells ya.
