I won about 1500 sbr points this week. I want to trade them for either a freeplay or sports book cash. Can somebody tell me which is better? And what is the difference?
Which Is Better: $250 Freeplay Or $250 Sportsbook cash??

#2cash is obviously better, but 250 cash costs a lot more than 250 fp[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#4Freeplay they keep what you bet. You get what you win. Say you bet $250 to win $200, they take back the $250 and you get $200 if you win. Lose you have nothing.
Cash. Bet $250 to win $200, win and you have $450. Lose you have nothing.
Your not a pro so a BetPhoenix $250 freeplay will cost you 1361. $250 cash at BetPhoenix will cost 2578.
With cash you end up with more money after your first bets but you will also pay more for it so in my mind that part pretty much ends up equal. Both have an 8X rollover so no difference there.
If you only have 1500 you can only get a freeplay if your looking at $250. If you want cash you will have to go with $100. One advantage of going for the $100 cash is you can be with books that only want a 5X rollover.

#5I aready had about 800 before I won the 1500. But what is the difference? It seems obvious that cash is better, but why? Both have rollover?Comment -

#9There are many, many, many threads on this topic- but:
For 1500 points you can get about a 100 cash or 200 freeplay.
In this situation the Free Play is the better deal, Free Plays are worth about 60-70% cash. (Look through some threads and you will find more detailed strategies for maximizing it)
As far as the difference: generally on a free play bet you keep only the winnings in cash, as opposed to the winnings and the stake in a normal bet. For more detailed info on the minutia restrictions read the rules on the site you are purchasing it from.Comment -

#10we've just had this discussion about two weeks ago and the clear conclusion for anybody with half a clue was that freeplay is generally the way to go
check for that thread and learn how to use freeplaysComment -

#19If you bet single/parlay at odds for example 5 free play is almost double better.Yes double better if you take 2 FP for price of 1 Cash!
Every odds bigger than 2.00 single/parlay is better FP.Under 2.00 Cash!Comment -

#23Mods??? I thought we were going to ban these goofy threads in 2011?? Por favor? SBR needs to post tutorials on how to use the search function. Or just let Justin do a sticky on this that pops up first when they search. I need more coffee i think.Comment -
