Ok I was starting to wonder if I was the only one with Matchbook. I can't get on the site either. Be carefull during days like these because matchbook ****** me before when this happened saying players couldn't get out of their offers because the site was down

Its really the only site I use. In game trading is so profitable when there are markets... Well.. when there is a site first and foremost.

I wish they would take more suggestiones from their users.

On the plus side, Matchbook is the only place I won a little this year. Everywhere else is just bad for me.

The advantage of playing in game is huge. In so many instances there are people who just want action - so if you price your market correctly - you can already get in with a huge advantage.

The problem with Matchbook - their lack of consistant markets hurts your ability to get out once you are in. Bet Fair has better markets on US sporting events than Matchbook does.

I'm assuming you're the same todd73nj that was creating thread after thread on the TradeSports forum many years back saying how terrible they were on a daily basis.

If you were able to use BetFair, you would find something to complain about over there as well.

FWIW, Matchbook is back up now.

3:45 pm EST - which is 2 mins from now.

But they did this another time - and as the time passes they will change it to later if they havent fixed their problems.

They changed it from the first time - because I just copied and pasted. And still nothing.. Probably a good reason to keep away from any big positions today in case its a re-occuring problem.

Yes, this is totally true. Probably because we are more used to bet that way in Europe.

It also needs to be stated that Betfair has been extremely far from paradise when it comes to "unscheduled maintenance". People who have been with Betfair for a while knows that Matchbook certainly ain´t the first exchange having those problems...
