    CRIS NFL Futures (bad joke?)
This is suppose to be an A+ book?? They are suppose to take the biggest action along with Pinny & Greek. The NFL is the biggest sport in America, and dollars gambled are HUGE, and with a few weeks left in the season there are tons of us players wanting to bet on NFL Futures.

I looked at CRIS futures lines and seriously think their line mover is playing a sick joke to make them the laughing stock of the industry. I mean, this is embarrassing. I have seen some bad lines on futures in Vegas, but nothing compares to this.

Patriots Superbowl win -120 --> Pinny is +226
Patriots win AFC -250 --> Pinny is +102

The most bet on team, in the most bet on sport. I just find it sad that actual suckers betting the -120 and -250 in these spots. If Pinny has +226 and they even had +180, that would be bad, but at least doable. What they are doing is just pure raping the customer with no lube or anything.

(CRIS is also running 80cent lines [same as -140/-140] on their division win props, which once again is just sad. At some point, SBR has to look at this and let the betting public know what they are getting themselves into)

Does that mean the other teams lines for say the Jets/Ravens are even worst?

Jeez, they are bad lines, have they taken too much liability on the Patriots or are all the prices really bad?
I suppose the simple answer is to not ever use the Cris group for any NFL futures, as you say Pinnacle are far better anyway.

I keep about .002% of my bankroll at this joke of a book (Bookmaker actually) at least when it comes to juiced up lines. I only hope I never have to do a book to book transfer with them or I'll owe them $225.

They are in the business to make money and look to be doing exactly that. Don't play there if you don't like the line...

            CRIS/Bookmaker Horrible Futures

CRIS/Bookmaker posted the 49ers -255 to win the West division and Cowboys -200 to win the East division.

The Greek posted SF -105 & Dallas +105 to win their divisions. The Greek ended up with my money.

Note: Books do not make any money posting absurd lines like SF -255 to win the division. Nobody would have bet SF or Dallas at those odds. The Greek ended up with the players money.

Every books are in the business of making money. What does that have to do with posting odds 10x worse than pinny?

Has a book ever offered to take back all the other teams at + odds?
                Of course not!

Confused how anyone can defend CRIS in this situation. Of course they can post whatever number they want, I mean they can post -100000 for Patriots to win Superbowl, that is their right. I don't see how that helps them, and for sure it doesn't help any of us, the players.

My point is that at some juncture, SBR needs to look into this and say they are a joke of a book and not a top tier operation. SBR is suppose to "review" books, and an overall player warning on their futures would be nice.

No one should do this, but at Pinnacle, I might bet without checking other spots. When I see the line there, I know it is the "real" line, and if I like a certain number, i dont have to fret that I could get a number 10 times better somewhere else. Sure maybe Pinny has +105 and Greek has +110, but I know Greek will not have +250.

not en error, CRIS has the worst futures of any book.
Or the worst soccer lines etc etc, they are just greedy bastards. Look at the fees, they try to rip their players off whenever they see a chance, i would never have rated them A+ for this reason alone...

I wouldn't be too sure about that Chuck.

Based on some of the absurd things posted on this forum there are obviously a lot of very ignorant punters out that who just have no clue. Just take a look at the current Cash v Freeplay thread for several examples.

Also there seem to be lots of punters who have only one book to look at and know no better.

Yes, unfortunately not everyone either has the funds to maintain multiple accounts or the intelligence to consider doing so ...

I'd be very surprised if they didn't take some level of action on those ripoff lines

They really went downhill, not w/ just futures, look at all their money lines, their boards are littered w/ 30 cent lines. Their business model went way beyond greed to the point of ludicrous. They try to get every angle including ties losing on free plays. I can go on and on about Cris/Bookmaker is this area. It first started when they screwed over so many of their affiliates, and players were warned back then that if they could do it to their affiliates, they will in time do it to their players, as players are now starting to learn. Time tells the story in this one.
