Most of the people with these scam books are looking for the too good to be true bonues that are offered there. I would guess 98% of them never make the rollover so they never know any better. The 2% that do make the rollover then either get paid (to keep them around) or dont get paid and end up here trying to get paid.
5Dimes is a legit bookmaker and you will notice they dont have outrageous bonus claims. In fact I think you get one bonus when you sign up and that is it.Comment -

We're not buying what he's selling.
According to him, 5 Dimes, Pinnacle, and Bet365 are scam books, when in reality they are three of the best you can find.

leaving aside that not all those are scammers, the reason why people play scam books basically comes down to greed and ignorance
they are attracted by bonuses which generally seem to be far better than they are in reality given the conditions attached to them and that you have to bet at poor odds to meet those conditions
more savvy punters recognise that the best 'bonus' is low juice with no conditionsComment -
