"I was with Bet Phoenix before SBR knew who they were and put them in the review and ranking. Back then they were not a scam even though nobody on sbr knew who they were or heard of them. Right now they are still not a scam. A no name book a couple of years ago puts in a name now and is ranked B+ here. They have treated players fairly. I don't play at books just because they are supported or sponsored by sbr. I play at books because I have read reviews from not just sbr but many other website to see if a book a positive or have had many good experience.

Great post, and a very fair statement. SBR is just like any other site, they make money out of the books paying them, and there is nothing wrong about it, so yeah, they will move to the tree that gives them a nice shade.

Lets see some things that changed:

1) Market to pros. Now people have 45s delays and $100 limits....
2) -105.... What happened to that? I consider that straight up thievery. -105 is not a promotion. It would be akin to saying that any book could deal -110 to people and then one day flip the switch to -120. Completely ridiculous, but somehow -110 has been so ingrained into everyone's mind that anything beyond that is a deal.
3) Restricting withdrawal policies. No xfers. Limiting cashouts per week. Neteller payouts consistently being reduced (4k - 3k - 2.5k)

For SBR involvement. Check frontpage, check forum. I'm sure I can gather up factual evidence of a half dozen people being slow paid. It appears contacting SBR is one of the few ways to actually get paid.

If you win 20K here, it will take you at least 6 months to pull your balance out, and you'll give back 10% in fees in the process. How is this not considered a slow pay?

took me 4 months to get close to 20K out of them. Will never go back. BP is a joke when it comes to withdrawals. They also cut my limits to $500 per game maximum and then have the nerve to call me asking me to re-deposit funds
