Heritage is a good book, but..

they gave me the boot. I turned that $500 free play offer they sent to people who had dormant accounts into a little over $4500. Their "risk management" team de-activated my account and said they really didn't want my type of play (the last straw was last week when I went 9 out of 10 on teasers and parlays). That's okay, they had already limited all my bets to a max of $100 anyway.

On the good side, they already sent the 2 checks by FedEx! (I hope they clear).

I opened an account there about 5 or 6 years ago and deposited a small amount a couple of times. Wonder if they would give me a bonus of some kind to come back and use them.

Sounds funny coming from a RebateWager tout-- a true Book for losers. In Fact RW is so sure you'll lose they'll return 25%-50% of your money. I'll take Heritage in a hearbeat over RW.

They were written on a Canadian Bank so it may be some sort of mix up between banks. My bank is going to look into it and let me know. I'll keep this forum informed on what happens.

Still waiting. My bank says they have to submit a "payment on demand" to the Canadian bank Heritage uses and it could take a few weeks to get my money. This is really bullshit for a B+ book in my opinion. It's not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, but it's the principle of the thing.

I'll advise when (and if) I finally get paid.

Get real kid. It's your bank that is holding it up, not Heritage. My check clears same day.

Mine clear almost immediately. Yes, it's a Canadian Bank that issues the check,in US dollars, but with a US branch clearly stated on the check. The problem is with your paranoid bank putting unnecessary holds.

Sounds like sour grapes on your part for getting limited by them, but I'll bet everything I own that you're good on this. FWIW, get another bank for collecting your winnings via check from any legit Book.

To be fair, the check is not really "cleared" immediately, because your bank won't get the money until a few weeks later. If you have been a good customer for a few years, the bank essentially trusts you and loans you the money for this period. But if you are a new customer or they have other concerns, they will put it on hold until it clears.
