Of course you do. Because it's such an outstanding book with great ties to many places, including the mafia! Maybe the fall of the Gambino family hurt some payouts?

If this is true, in your opinion do you think SBR will come forward and say his story was entirely accurate or there'll be story invention before it comes public? Plenty people have foreseen something like this with BOL coming, after the links to the mob were published it certainly didn't help those of us who were skeptical of this book, its ties, and rating.

I have no insight into the accuracy of this person's claim. If it checks out, SBR will undoubtedly help him get his money. If not accurate, we'll have to see.

The fact the BOL is advertiser here won't change a thing. Advertisers don't get a free pass. Books need to have a high rating to be able to advertise here.

Yeah. I'm just curious if it is accurate, what kind of damage control will be done (if any) and if they'll be dropped.

Not sure what you base your suspicion on. SBR has dropped advertisers in the past. Even an A rated book such as WWTS.

Nothing to do with that sorta thing at all Crazyl. When you field complaints you usually get two sides to each one (players version and the books version). Hence my original comment.

Just breaking your balls. If I recall correctly you've aired some concern about them a while back in not wanting to personally recommend them. I'm sure the right thing will be done here if this player is telling the truth, more than anything else I just feel like if this happens to be true it's something many of us have seen coming for some time. I miss John, he's usually always makes an appearance in these BOL threads. Maybe this will induce a curtain call.

I know you were Crazyl and you would be correct, I did have concerns when a poster was going to choose BOL over WSEX.

I felt his funds were more secure at the time at Wsex (Hence my recommendation when he asked me at the time).

As DH said, all complaints are addressed and of course we don't assume anything about either party, from Pinnacle to Sportsbook.com. We will share all available info. I can say this is something that you don't hear about even with scam books. It's not a good scam and would be easy to get caught redhanded, especially on long-shot parlays where you know the player is wide-eyed about to win 40x.
