Does anyone know what the policy is for having accounts at the CRIS brands? i.e can you have an account at more than one of their brands?

Yes, you can. Just don't pop them both on identical lines quickly.

Customer services have confirmed to me on live chat that you can have an account at both Bookmaker and BetCris.

Why wouldn't you be able to? What if you weren't a member of SBR, and didn't know which books owned each other? It's not like they advertise it on their sites.

I talked to them directly over a year ago about having accounts at Diamond and Bookmaker and betting the limits at both.

The person I talked to couldn't say yes or no, basically she said if I placed a limit bet at one place and then tried at the other it would be up to the floor/line Manager to accept the bet, but it wasn't guaranteed it would be accepted.

So, to answer your question, yes you can, but you might not be able to go over the limit combining the amounts from both places.

As for the BetCris/BookMaker, I had a BetCris account, but they turned it into a BookMaker account around the time the UIGEA was passed. So, as someone from the US, you can not have accounts at both, but maybe someone not from the US can.

                BoL,

                    Thanks for all the replies.

In regards wo why would I want to? Well I already have a Bookmaker account, but I don't see any reason why I couldn't take a bonus at BetCRIS to keep me in the action longer.

Interesting what RonPaul said about the lines not always being identical - I didn't know that I just looked and noticed they were the same and assumed that was how it is. Perhaps the linesmakers start the lines off at the same point but there is some independance in the way they run so that when the money comes in they don't always end up in the same place?

The 5 Dimes Family has it spelled out in their rules that you can not have accounts at more than one of their sites. Of course nearly all of us do, but I would be extremely careful placing bets at more than one of their sites at a time. Now the rules don't really say what the punishment would be, at least I can't remember that part, but why bother with the added risk.

                      BoL,
