Betjm check didnt clear bank?

i received a check from betjm. i deposited last week and after a day or two it showed in my balance then i checked my bank today and they took the money out and charged me a service charge. Does anybody know what i can do next? thanks

A check processor was disconnected from the checking account with checks pending. It affected a few different major books and their players. Contact BetJam. They will let you know about a follow up check and will surely cover your fee if you can document it.

It's scary the first time but has happened to every book over the years. The good books take care of you quick.

This is what I've been posting over the past two days in various threads. For anyone experiencing a delay or problems with 5Dimes checks, this is the same reason.

They will take care of it, but now people have bad reputations at their banks.

When I go to my bank, they cash these on the spot with no holds, but if one ever bounced, I'm sure they'd stop cashing them on the spot for me!

I just got off the phone with betjm because i had a check sent to me on the 21st of this month and deposited it in my acct on the 22nd. wanted to check with them to see if that check is going to bounce and was told it is good. there was some problems with checks dated the 17th of this month. Dont know if they are bullshitting or not but if this check i deposit bounces i have a major problem with other bills and checks i have mailed out. Can anyone who had a betjm check bounce tell me if it is dated the 17th of this month.

thanks everyone, i cashed the check and then the funds got put on hold but they showed in my account balance. then i just happened to check today and there was a debit for the amount and a service charge added.

mine was dated the 14th i believe because i requested it monday the 13th and got it the next day.

Either bank will probably put the same hold on it.

Why didn't you request a W/U or ** for today? I'm sure they would cover the charges for the inconvenience!

Won't make a difference. You can use the same bank to deposit the replacement check.

If you just got off the phone with them then they will not do it till Monday anyways because it's after 12 pm.

Call them and ask. Couldn't hurt to try. Tell them you need the money!

I don't have it.. I have online banking so I just printed a screen shot showing that they debited my account for the Amout of the check and the service charge.. I saved it in paint and emailed it over to them and the money was in my account within 10 mins.. Their customer service is outstanding
