Ok, there are fire crews on the roof spraying water, but I don't see that fire slowing down at all.

Makes me wonder how well the fire system in the hotel worked. Because each room has sprinklers in them and usually do a good job on putting the fire out before it gets out of control.

Maybe a little exaggeration, but it is spreading fast. The top floor is almost all on fire and it has spread to the lower floors of the hotel.

Well the responds to the fire alarms had to be slow. The engineering in the hotel should of been up there going threw rooms to see where the thing was starting.

I haven't heard what it could of been, but I know when the 402 alarms go off, every goes searching like crazy to try and find where it is.

The news broadcasters on the local CBS channel (ch.8) are upset by the false reports by the national news channels (CNN and Fox News). With the reports of false evacuations and trapped workers. They made comments about it.

Sounds like the fire started on the roof, and for that fact, had nothing to do with the fire system inside the hotel. After the fact, I think this was well taken care of once the fire crews showed up.

They said there were welders on the roof doing some work before the fire started, but nothing confirmed if that started it.

Looks like just a exterior fire, and minimum damage to the inside of the hotel.

The Monte is a shithole. No whales stay at the Monte unless there fat chicks.

There is no reason to step foot into the Monte for anyone that doesnt know. Unless ur old or cheap or dumb.
