They have sent dozens of emails now concering a debt from 2008 saying that they need payment by so and so date and the date keeps changing it makes no sense. I never won from them and now all of the sudden I am getting harassed and threatened on a daily basis I dont know what to tell them. In one email the owner said ," I'll see you soon" and "you're a low-life loser" multiple times. I explained that I have a problem with gambling and with the economy I simply do not have $1,000 lying around to pay this jerk-off. Someone please give me advice how to deal with the owner of CW. Thanks. I apolgized to him and said when I have enough money I will contact you and even offered to get a $25 VC gift card to show my integrity. He keeps making up random numbers and dates "or else." I'm scared he seems psychotic and dont know how to handle this correctly. I said if you email me one more time I'll contact FBI didnt phase him. Please help.

Just tell him you're going to pay him when you have it or you're going to change your email address and you won't get anything.Comment -

#3You owe a debt.
You are not planning on paying it, as a matter of fact you go so far as to call the guy you owe the money to a "jerk-off" and threaten to turn him into the FBI for making the mistake of offering deadbeat you credit.
Boo-hoo.
Cry me a river.Comment -

#4So if you owe money, you dont pay it if because the economy is bad?

#5DON'T PAY CW ANY MONEY. They are a bunch of frauds and can do nothing but call you becasue they operate from the United States. They run a pyramid scheme but it is all BS!! Don't listen to all of the shills on SBR (they allow shills)....check out Covers for the real information.
The operation is run by Michael Moberg. All 5'2 of him. He is loud and tough on the phone but in real life he is a short little puss that can do nothing to collect any debts. Scam the hell put of these FRAUDS.....they currently owe 20-30 people thousands of dollars. DO NOT PAY THEM.Comment -

#8I could care less if the guy pays his bills......especially since CreditWagering pays NO BILLS!!! They owe people thousands because they are a fraud operation. So in this case, yes I advocate for the poster not paying these scum.Comment -

Like I said Saintsin.
You can find a way to justify it. In this case, the old "they don't pay their bills" argument.Comment -

i agree with you 100%
but the OP should not pay Ben directly he should pay the list of people Ben has owed for months.
I would love to be able to call Ben daily and ask him where my money is but i don't have that option.
it works both ways BenComment -

#11Agree he should pay it to someone who is owed.
I am sure SBR would be glad to hold the funds in trust, and alocate it out to posters owed.
But the OP ain't going to pay anyone anything EVER. Stiff has owed the money for TWO YEARS. He is about as likely to pay a debt as 5* Turd.Comment -

#12damn you mean to tell me that for all of these months I have been paying my mortgage I could have just told them that I could not afford it because of the economy????
I was unaware of this rule when taking loans.
Just PM Justin7 and tell him that you are a dead beat who is trying to scam a book out of $1,000 and that they keep bugging you to pay them what you owe, this seems like a pretty cut and dry case they are definately in the wrong for expecting you to pay your loan as agreed upon. What type of assholes have the nerve to contact somebody and ask them to pay back money that they loaned them.
If SBR can not assist you you can always take them to judge Judy.Comment -

#13Be a ******* man and pay your debts.
If you want to give the $1K to someone who is owed by CW, then do that. But I'm sure you won't feel the need to actually pay anything...Comment -

Didn't AK (I'm sure you remember him) suggest one time that he should be on the list to get a bail out because he was owed money for referring players to some book that eventually stiffed the players he referred? I guess what I don't understand, unless you idolized him or something, is why you don't have enough common sense to follow LT Profit's and Rickas's and not show up in CW threads anymore when you are one those who helped the scam last as long as it did...
I used to question if you were a CW tout (like LTProfit and Rickas were) but I'm now (fairly) convinced you were just a sucker that got in on the ground level of the pyramid and refuses to realize their cash cow is dead... I hate to be the one to kill your dream but no matter how many times you post about CW you aren't going to be anymore likely to open your mail box and find another check...Comment -

#21I wonder if the shoe was on the other foot and he was owed the 1K, I'm sure he would be on the phone giving them an earful. I would put some money together and try to settle the 1K, see if they would take 650.00 as payment in full with the agreement you never play there again.Comment -

#24Yeah, last time I dealt with CW before I got out you just waited and waited and they sent you a card and it wasn't funded and it took a minimum of 4 months to get anything done. Is anyone who knows anything about online books still signing up with them? Please stop now, seeing as with them there are two options:
1. You win. They won't pay you for months and you may just get bored and lose everything, leading to scenario 2 and the most likely one anyway:
2. Your money is gone. You owe them. Now your life sucks a little more. Should you pay? You don't want to stiff but who are they anyway?
it's no win with them all the way.
Anyone who wants to gamble, don't sign up. The hassle isn't worth it.Comment -

#25Don't be surprised if you see Fat Tony waiting for you at your front door with a baseball! In reality, I don't expect them to take 1k of monopoly money really seriously. The repercussion from the authorities getting involved might not be worth the trouble, verses the return of collecting.
Locals I know of are stiffed all the time, but they rarely send people to collect if it's around 2k or less. That's why they take more precaution before lending out 1 to 10k of credit. If they fvcked up, it's on them for being careless and they know it!Comment
