    Bet Phoenix line error
Right now as I type, BetPhoenix has the Saints +5 against the 49ers. I checked other books and they all have the Saints -4.5 to -5.

Does it even pay to bet this? Wouldn't they cancel this anyway if I did?

Still there. Not going to touch it though.

Tried to give them a heads up through live chat.....they told me to call the wagering dept.....yeah right.

Yea back in the day, if you told some books about bad lines they threw you a few bucks or a free bet. Now they act like you are trying to get over even though you didn't bet it. Don't touch it, it won't be honored.

Yeah--the last time I told a book about a bad line, it took them about 12 hours to correct it and the clerk acted like I was bothering him by pointing it out. I don't bet bad lines because it gives the book the ability to freeroll you but I usually don't bother pointing it out to the book either.

Even Pinnacle, who usually would provide a thank you for pointing stuff like that out, didn't bother thanking me the last few times I pointed out typos in their lines or incorrect start times.

no need to do the linseman job for them.

unless of course you want to bet the game at the correct line

Every book makes mistakes like this once in a while. It's called human error.

It is annoying to see a line error because you know someone is going to get shot at. It used to be books will eat the cost of mistake so they want to thank you for pointing out errors, but now, they take free rolls, so why do they want to thank you for pointing out?

The total had been posted wrong as well. Looked like they had mistakenly used numbers from the Giants-Colts game for 49ers-Saints. Always best to let the book know instead of betting into them.
