guy logged in for 70 straight days before making a post
but to answer your question, yes they are solid. book to book transfers take about 1 hour for me. and their bank check payouts are really slow but still reliable.

If you can use Moneybookers (or Neteller) that's the way to go
Withdrawals same day no cost never been an issue for me (other than being limited to $2500 each)

Very few places offshore have 'no worries', and Matchbook are no different, there are a lot of unknowns. That said, most would think they're safe for a reasonable balance.

Matchbook
If you are not playing at Matchbook, you're not winning.
Payouts have always been fast for me.

Support any exchange, even if it's only a small deposit. Less hassle on payouts.

does anyone know if they do large ($20k+) withdrawals via bank wire and/or check to US customers? I am aware that their posted withdrawal limits are tiny. I am asking if they are known to make exceptions for larger players.

Ask them.
Personally I would tell you to avoid going down that route unless you are declaring the income to the IRS, because that'll be red flagged beyond a shadow of a doubt.

They may be winning, but they would be winning way more if they had an account with MATCHBOOK

Just made a decent sized interbook transfer out of matchbook with no problems. The site goes down once in awhile which is a pain but other then that its been good and I have never had any problems getting any money out of it. Inplay liquidity is not always that great but will live.

I don't think ANYONE has had a true payout problem with Matchbook on ANY SIZE withdrawal EVER. That pretty much sums it up. People can say what the want, but I'm pretty sure that's a fact. Besides, they are a cash cow collecting those commissions, even if the volume is not as good as it once was or could be, it's still plenty for them to rake with safety.
As for betting there, they are not very good for everything, but they are very good for some things.

I get so annoyed with the bank wire process to matchbook! Best Funding method for me is 5Dimes/Sportbet sportsbook transfer to matchbook. Done within about an hour and FREE.

So far you've posted this and/or variations of this about 13,000 times, always praising Matchbook and stressing that they have the best lines, can't beat their numbers, you get most of your plays there, etc.
About a week ago you posted on another website asking if anyone could help you find the best line on a game you wanted to bet.
Someone had to inform you that Matchbook had the best number on the game.
You hadn't even checked the line there.

If you have balances in betjamaica/thegreek, you can also transfer from those two books to your matchbook account.

The interbook transfers seem to have got better at Matchbook. I remember a year ago when I had to email matchbook about the interbook transfer and then after some time I would have to go on the live chat and ask about the interbook transfer and at that point they would finally process it. Lately I have just submitted the email for the transfer at the end of the night and by the time I am up the next morning the transfer has been processed.

Betting early is impossible but liquidity is normally fine at gameday for NFL and MLB. NHL and NBA is poor, however, ask for a reasonable price on NBA and you are likely to get it. It´s a shame that it seems like most people still haven´t understood this.

Is there a reason why there is not much liquidity on the nba and nhl? Are people just not betting these sports or something?

For NHL most likely because relatively few wants to bet. For NBA maybe it´s also a factor that the frequency of large line moves expose you to a risk of getting caught with a bad number if you provide liquidity.
