5 years ago would see a few of these matters pop up on forums...now it seems every thread is about stiffs, 86'ing, or ridiculous dollar-bet limits, even stealing. They are so paranoid I think anyone who wins has little chance of not being limited.

if you mess with the small fry that's true
stick with BetFair, Matchbook, Pinnacle, SBO and TAB and you're ok

Sounds like you deal in most books with juicy lines. Get what you pay for. Risk reward.

Are these some of the reasons for you pulling out offshore?

Yes bookies are getting more pussies every day, they dont do bookmaking anymore they just copie odds from others books and limit players

you still have lots of quality options like greek, matchbook, and 5dimes. Being limited would be a nice problem to have for most people

It is certainly a liquidity issue. If the Frank bill can crack open the door so banks don't need to feel paranoid relative to UIGEA--the liquidity will begin to return to the market.

5Dimes will limit you, should not be in that list.

                Trumpdown,
I am really just sick of whole industry. Yes I did hunt for occasional arbs and juicy lines, as u put it, but I do some serious wagering throughout the year as well. Just sick of chasing around for payouts from books I played with over a decade ago that all of a sudden are close to being belly-up. I do have a greek account but their lines are always bad, especially bases and soccer. The only shady book I have a substantial amount in and worried is the Jazz group, which had been solid until this year's rash of complaints. I recall WSEX being and A+ book, it can happen to nay book IMO. Pinny is great but live in US so assed out. Few and far between bets I make now are strictly through greek (no limit) or diamond sportsbook (also pussied me down to $250/wager). And a little with betphoenix they have paid each time to their credit, but pulling out of there too don't trust them call it a hunch.

Limited and/or delays put on my with skybook and linesmaker this month Still usable but annoying. Linesmaker went fairly quickly as they had juicy lines. I was with skybook for some time, and actually losing at the time.

TAB is 100%, they don't take American customers unfortunately.

                      absurd comment

each book at which you are limited is essentially one less place you have the option to make a reasonable bet at

                      how can that be "nice"

What should be worry and hassle free like receiving your own money turns into quite the ordeal and can wear down on you over time. I joined WSEX more recent and went in knowing the risk, but am still frustrated by the incompetence. I can only imagine going in believing they will pay promptly only to be slow payed or stiffed this must be on a whole new level. Lesson learned is not spread yourself too thin on these unregulated books.

Good fortune on your future endeavors whether abroad or at home in the states.

another reason could be because theres more people gambling....hence more incidents?

It´s getting harder for the books making money with more and more experienced players.

All those books want rookies... or idiotic players..but it´s hard to find them these days

it's so hard to find a good local, but well worth the hunt, and i think they may be making a comeback in the u.s.

It is thanks to these books that other bookies can easily identify who is a smart player and who is not.
It was all just a matter of time. In fact it all lasted much longer than I ever thought it would.
