Dont listen to Makeit, 5dimes is one of the best books in the world.They have everything you would ever want to bet on,good lines, good openers, and fast payouts.Bodog on the other hand is ******* terrible, they do every thing they can to tip the odds in their favor.They post lines late, charge crazy juice, and they make it really hard to win.

depends... 5dimes is better overall in everywhere but bodog is decent... if your a ultra low bettor and you going to be withdrawing less then 100 at a time bodog will fit your needs, there min. withdrawal is 20 by check....

I've never had a problem with BoDog, but they do have really huge amount of juice on every game nearly... They also don't put the lines up til the market settles and there goes an edge... Good luck winning there

I prefer 5 Dimes and Matchbook now that I finally am able to deposit on them.

5dimes is much easier /better than Bodog. they have lines come out to the market earlier than Bodog does. limits at 5dimes higher than in Bodog. 5dimes have "Book to Book" transfer with several major books. Bodog doesn't have that option.

Bodog is great to me. Easy to deposit and usually payout requests on a weekend results in a check in hand as early as Tuesday, usually Wednesday but never longer than 5 business days.

Emails answered within 15 minutes always. Any problems have always been resolved quickly and fairly, been with for 8 years.

Not a shill, just a little guy who likes consistent, quality customer service.

I have yet to withdrawl from Bodog but I heard they hassle you with document requests? My poker software also quit working out of the blue and an email conversation regarding that ended with them telling me to call them. I assume I'll have to spend all day on the phone with them to *maybe* get the software to run, no thanks. I'd like to have played in the SBR PRO aug 19th tourney, ah well.

yes they want documents if you use credit cards, like almost every other book

After reading this thread I wanted to go with 5Dimes but I am still not sure.

The site just looks really old and amateur. Also the lack of an https or any encryption makes me wonder if this is a good place to play. Or maybe I am at the wrong website? Like a clone phishing one?

Please advise if I am crazy or not.

Bet Jamaica is also a solid book for recreational players.
