Good for you. I was with Skybook for over a decade and witnessed their demise. I'm glad that you got paid before BP's regular clients; apparently they are more concerned with the Books they acquire. BP sucks.

I've been told my two pending checks are being sent "early next week" for the last 3 weeks. On the last wire I requested, they misspelled my name and put the wrong account number causing my bank to reject it. It took over a month and a dozen phone calls to get it successfully re-sent

Payments at Phoenix are worse than ever, not better.

Have always requested **'s from Phoenix and they've always been fantastic. One free payout a month and it's always gone smoothly.

Good to hear, but there's a big difference between getting hundreds of $$$ by **/** and thousands of $$$ by check. BP has been horribly slow on check payouts for several months with one lone exception. Their ad check seems to arrive on time regularly for SBR.

I enjoyed playing for BetPhoenix last year and I never had any issues however reading all these issues on here I'm not going to deposit their this season despite lucrative bonuses.

Agreed, but if you are really concerned, why keep such a big balance at one book?

I've requested 4 different payouts from Phoenix for the ** maximum and they all went great.

If I ever go on a hot streak and start winning, I divide my action up...BetJam, 5dimes, Bookmaker, Matchbook...

I do spread out my bankroll ---over eight books currently. And when it's time to rebalance accounts and/or take a profit, withdrawing by one check is usually more convenient than 3 or more MGs. Unfortunately I have to rely on books to give me somewhat accurate info on withdrawal times on each method. BP has failed to do so in regards to check ETAs. Last time it took nearly a month to get paid and I ended up getting switched to **/** anyway. This time, I'm told that everything has been fixed with their check processing, yet my withdrawal sits in my account for going on a week now. It seems like the same old thing again. BP does pay, but it's on their time schedule--whatever that may be.

I can not get depositing instructions for either Betphoenix or Betmania. Have emailed both at least 3-4 times looking to deposit 4-5 figures. Kind of concerning when you can't find out how to deposit in over a week. Makes me wonder about how hard it will be to withdraw.

Do either offer book transfers? How have those been? I'm considering just taking both off my list given what I'm hearing here and my emails going unanswered. That said, the betmania teasers are a pretty nice deal.

7/8/2010. I request the monthly maximum check withdrawal of $4k from BetPhoenix via livechat. About 12 days later there's been no communication and the amount has not been deducted from my account balance. I inquire via livechat and am told to wait between 8-10 business days. Ok. 8-10 business days pass and the funds still have not been deducted from my account balance. 7/26/10, I again inquire on the status of my withdrawal request. I am told it will go out this week. Finally, on 7/29/10 the funds are debited from my account. However, only $3k is deducted (along with a $50 fee). I inquire and am informed that the max payout via check has been reduced to $3k. Gee, thanks for telling me know and charging me a $50 fee for only an additional $1k. Well, at least I'm getting paid finally. Right? Nope. 8 days from when the amount was debited from my account and the check has yet to arrive.

It's been just shy of 1week sense my "hold" got taken off my account , no money has been taken out of my account but I was told a 4k wire is coming for me today or tomorrow. can't wait to get this one, the next , one after that, then just one more!

Oh gotta love my cs mailing me saturday asking for my bank wire info cause he is going to "try" to get me a bank wire, not very much communication going on over there in phoneix land.

UPDATE

The check arrived via Fedex today. It's a bank check this time as opposed to the money orders they've used in the past. In the end, it took about a month from the original request to having a check in hand. I actually don't mind waiting a month if 1) there was better communication of expected time frames and 2) the free monthly payout countdown started on the date of my initial request rather than when the funds were debited from my account--21 days after the original request was made.

It would seem that the approaching NFL season has boosted the level of deposits which BP is now using to pay out those who've been waiting so long?

If so, essentially what that suggests is that those who've recently deposited have had their funds paid out to others. And, unless BP has a particularly successful NFL/NBA season the same situation will arise when end of season withdrawals exceed new deposits. A bit like playing musical chairs eh?

Advice: don't wait until the season is almost over before requesting withdrawal of your funds.
