    Deposits/Withdrawals and UIGEA
Hey guys. I just wanted to check and see if anyone has made any deposits or withdrawals via a bank wire in an amount of $10,000 or greater since the June 1 date when the UIGEA regulations went into effect.

I know that the UIGEA regulations technically only covers deposits and that it is geared towards banks blocking such deposits; however, if you have had any success or failure in that range of money on deposits or withdrawals let me know.

I am overly cautious and have had my money off in anticipation of this date and now that June 1st is passed and a few days have gone by I wanted to check and see if anyone had deposited or withdrawn in such an amount.

Also I guess I should ask if it is still pretty much the consensus opinion that a bank wire is the best way to go when depositing or withdrawing in amounts of $10,000 or greater.

Thanks in advance for any input you have on this subject.

Ive had no problems cashing a money order from an offshore site.... but bank wires are probably the truest test since money orders are almost untraceable

Right I think that wine tranfers will be telling. Especially in amounts greater than $10,000. Hopefully others will be able to give their experiences as the next week rolls on.

If the government gets their share -110 will be the rule, at best.

Hmmmm. I tend to agree that some places would increase their spreads. It would be interesting to see if Matchbook styled sites popped up with minimal spreads but maybe an increase on their commission for accepted bets from .75% to 1.5% or something like that.

Hopefully matchbook itself will stay in business even if the US government decides to regulate the online gambling industry.

Anyway, let me know if anyone is able to deposit or withdrawal in amounts greater than 10K (especially if it is on matchbook) and keep the replies coming the dialog is greatly appreciated.

Just bring back Neteller, keep it illegal, and it will be all good.

-110 or higher is like playing 6:5 Blackjack

Little bit of an exaggeration there. There are markets that offer plenty of value at -110 and you know this.
