is this considered "circumventing the limits?"
a book i'm currently in dispute w/ via osga accused me of "circumventing the limits"

their argument is since they have 1k limits on straight bets in football, if i wagered a 1k parlay on the 1st half, and then wagered another 1k parlay on the 2nd half, i'm "circumventing" the 1k limit; does that argument make sense?

additionally they're also indicating that betting 1k side, then 1k total; or betting 1k side then the other side for 1k would also be considered circumventing the limits.

i was never aware of this rule

This is not circumventing limits. This is a book taking a shot at you.

Trix, you're always getting in these interesting disputes. They're informative, thanks for sharing. They especially help with the lower rated books, which seem to stiff you unfortunately, ahem, WagerWeb.

Are there any books that have never given you trouble for betting max limits?

By the way, I agree with Justin.

That is not, it is entirely possible to lose both 1st half and 2nd half while winning the entire game. Every remote chance, but possible.

Obviously they don't want your business, so time to move on. Betting 1K parlays at any place shady is always risky business.

          GL with it.

i usually don't get in dispute w/ books, i do like to post musings that i find non-sensical on the sportsbetting side. i find some of the arguments the book poses amusing, and figuring sharing them w/ public is better than crying about my latest bad beat.

imo, relationship between book and player should be like a certain convo i had w/ a b-rated book recently, within the convo the manager recognized that they allow certain +ev soccer combinations and asked me nicely as an ap to not bet them. i replied i would absolutely honour their request, appeciated the professionalism they shown me by asking me first politely.

why can't all books be like this, instead of complaining later on?

                Good post TTT.

Agree. I don't mind when books do that either. Much more professional that the heavy handed tactics some use.

DSI told me I could only bet $500 cumulative on any game or my account would be closed.
