I use moneybookers regularly and I have had nothing but a pleasant experience using them. Initially they may be a little paranoid and they will ask you to send in id and verification of address and such, but after that they will leave you alone. But they are reliable and they pay fast back to bank wire. They now even have a pre-paid credit card (maybe only for vips, can't remember). I have only ever had one problem and that was last month actually... they had some downtime and some transactions didn't go through but it got sorted fairly quickly.
I prefer Neteller though because they have a special fraud guarantee for VIP customers.

funny reviews, looks like some were written by one person.
no, i never had problem. i heard though that they occasionally close some accounts apparently due to customers' funds inter-changing - anyone know anything about that?

A lot of old crap there
I find Moneybookers exceptionally efficient and fast with payments.
Service in my experience has always been excellent.
A very professional outfit imho.
I used to use Neteller but they are a lot slower to transfer funds to my bank and then my bank charges a fee for collecting the money so I sacked them and now use Moneybookers exclusively.

No problems here. I find them a nice way to keep transactions out of my bank account without all the hassle of having to go buy money orders, etc.
I did find the verification process a pain, but understand its purpose - money laundering requirements imposed on them by law. They send a dummy payment to your bank account, and you then enter a code form the transaction reference into their website. I got the dummy payment, but there was absolutely no further info displayed other than that it was from them; even called my bank who said that all the (lack of info) I saw online was all they saw. Took a few messages to Moneybookers to sort out and get verified "manually."

what a load of garbage!
why on earth would they close down a customer from whom they derive revenue without good cause?

what right do these outfits have to impose their moral standards on others acting lawfully?

Paypal do allow gambling agencies in Europe, guess they are not convinced by the Aussie legislation?

Never had anything but good experiences here. They are obviously extremely convenient and have always paid fast by bank transfer for me.
Even got a hand written card as a VIP at Christmas
Even so I never leave a large amount there for long as you have to waive any financial protection on their going bust once you start sending decent sized amounts.

I have been using Moneybookers for years and have had absolutely no problem. Withdrawals from Moneybookers take 24-48 hours for me anyway.
don't like Moneybookers. they close your accounts at any times if you send money frequently oversea. I prefer Neteller. they have much higher limited. and it's PLC..more reliable

Where are you from may I ask because I think it could be down to location. I found Neteller to be was more inconvenient for me as a European customer than Moneybookers. I used Neteller for only a couple of weeks. I made two withdrawals of a very small amount and they took over two weeks to hit my account. Moneybookers however (may be due to the fact that they are located in the UK and I am from Ireland) only took 24-48 hours during business days.

I have seen ONE book that accepts PAYPAL as a payment method and that is PADDY POWER. I have used paypal once to deposit into my PP account.

I have all of them paypal, moneybookers, neteller, they are all good moneybookers and neteller give a hard time to comfirm my ID and adress but after that is all good no problems.
I dont think moneybookers will close any account, but if you have two accounts in same IP they will investigate and frozen untill you prove that you dont have two accounts.

Thanks for the contribution, great post.
I've had NO problems with Moneybookers in the past. Moneybookers --> Bank Account through wire transfer takes about 1-2 business days and my bank takes a reasonable $14 fee. It seems like they're highly regulated too which is another plus.

Moneybookers do not like you operating more than one account, but if you are straight then theres no problem.
Very secure and safe wallet.

Does anyone use fnbpay then? What relationship would they have with moneybookers? Do we know any other bookies than the Bookmaker group that offers it?

When signing up you have to specify if you are a U.S. citizen, so I assumed that meant USAer's couldn't use it. But based on this thread I guess I made a bad assumption. No one has trouble using them, despite their TOS saying you can't use them for gambling transfers? Here's the language from the merchants agreement.
16.1.15 Gambling and gambling services of any kind, including but not limited to the following: legal gambling where the Customer is not present when the bet is made, lotteries, illegal gambling including internet gambling, sports forecasting or odds making, betting, casino gaming, off track betting; gambling chips or gambling credits.

It seems not for "gambling" sites but surely the best people to ask are Moneybookers themselves?
