"C" looks like the right answer to me.

Richard mentioned it here. BP, if they're still interested, are in a far better position to start an exchange. Their family of books (Wagerchief, BetMania, and now Skybook) would translate into liquidity. What kind of liquidity does Rebatewager think they could drum up? No liquidity, no exchange.

Blackie has a VIP club that has been around for awhile that has plenty of high rollers.

Blackdog and Rebatewager is not his only gigs.

Even if BP (and sub-books) have a decent amount of customers, which I assume they do, it still won't work IMO. Even the "slowest" SBR reader is much more educated than your average gambler. It is hard enough to get a guy to understand why the line is -3 -130 on Sunday instead of -3. Sports betting is just a way for most rec. customers to blow some money during football and maybe hoops. They are happy with -110, aren't looking for an edge, and are thrilled with a 20% bonus. You will never be able to move those guys (at least not in the states) to an exchange format.

Probably Phoenix, even though they are ridiculed on some warranted, they are trying to seem like a big time player to the public, good day

There's a very easy way to make exchanges accessible to all. Translate all American odds into 0-100 percentages. The mind easily thiniks in percentages, from 0-100, but few players know what a -130 translates into. They need to see it on the spot. Do that, and every player has easy access to the exchange format.

Example. A US odd of -150 corresponds to a 60% winning expectation. So players should be able to see both numbers, and enter an offer for 52% without having to translate it into US odds (-108). The exchange should do that for them!

These type of fluctuations happen many times throughout a game, so when players start to see the incredible deals they can get through exchanges they will come on board. The problem is not the exchange format, but the inaccessibility of US odds!

Exchanges should also have a feature that allows players, if they want, to set a time limit. Players may want to enter an offer for the first ten or twenty minutes of the game. They shouldn't have to monitor all games in order to be able to do so.

The best way to solve the liquidity dilemma that faces every exchange is to have one central board, like the Dow, and give books access to it. This could change the industry. People want value. Exchanges can offer it. But the format needs a few people with vision to take it to the next level.

                        Americans do use percentages.
