My point is that I wanted to share my unpleasant experience with the members of this forum. Books should not have the luxury to behave like this, they shouldn't be able to exploit the fact that they have our money and are located thousands of miles away on some island. Maybe if these stories came out more often, books would run their business more legitimately and not to screw over their own clients, even those who play by their rules.

Do you really think I care about the $15? It's the principle of the matter. I would have posted the same story if they tried pulling this for 15 cents. Rules are rules, and they didn't follow their own. What if something like this got swept under the rug every time it happened?

I've heard the crying wolf story a million times, that's why I'm wondering how Dark Horse was applying it to what happened.

Anyways, to sum it up for those that didn't bother to read the chat log and look at the screenshot, I find it very tough to understand how this book gets an A+ rating. In this case:

1. They had 2 sets of rules regarding cashouts, and acted in a way that was contradictory to one of those sets of rules.

2. More importantly, the way they responded to realizing they were in the wrong, and the remedy they provided, are the main reasons why I'm sharing this experience with everyone on the forums.

At first, I'm told that I'm in the wrong, even though what BetCris had listed on their own site explicitly stated that I was right. Then, I'm told that they'll make an "exception" for me, as if they're doing me a favour, even though they're just following rules they created themselves. In the end, my cashout is $15 short, I have $15 in an account that I don't want to have $15 in and I wasted 30 minutes getting this straightened out, when from the very beginning, there should have been nothing to straighten out.

I really don't know if I can make my case clearly than that. If I get one of these "crying wolf" fairy tales again that have absolutely nothing to do with this, I think I'm going to write a 10,000 word essay on this topic.

My 2 cents - This is not an A+ book, not with the way they handled this.

I will say this about Bookmaker & their Racebook...Awesome.

You can bet races up to post,very easy to use,Lightning quick grading of races, & very nice rebates that are posted the next morning.

I say this because a lot of places that accept race wagers are very disorganized.They will miss scratches & make you call in for rebates etc.In a nutshell this is one of the best racebooks out there.It is by far the best that I have used.I don't plat horses daily,but when I do these guys are great.

Over 2 weeks and 10 working days have passed (max. period in their terms and conditions a payout is made). Their support is not reliable, know nothing. They always say it is processing, etc. When I asked why it is taking sdo long, they told me there is a little bit delay due to location where I live (Poland). But when I asked why people from Poland get their money in 1 day, they say nothing. Bad bookie in my opinion, I would never recommend this one. Poor lines, long withdrawals (in my case). Really I do not know why there is so high rating.

BTW Hareeba, I noticed that you copied and pasted the Moneybookers withdrawal conditions in a previous message. If you actually took the 5 minutes to read this story from start to finish, you'd realize what the actual issue is here. The plain simple truth is that you were NOT entitled to the free withdrawal as your request came in after the cutoff time.

You whined and moaned about it and rather than enforcing their own rules, BetCris gave in and gave you the $15 to get you off their back as a one-time exception good faith gesture.

Just so you know, I am not responding in this manner because I am a big fan of BetCris/Bookmaker.

I am no longer eligible for their loyalty points program, my limits have been cut and my account no longer qualifies for any free withdrawals regardless of when I request them.

However, since they still offer reasonable limits, don't kick out winning players and process withdrawals fast, they are most definitely in the top 3 when it comes to U.S. options for serious players.

they paid and since then all withdrawals were within a day or 2-3 days max.
