    Sportsbook.com Nonsense
So, last Wednesday (3/17), I had made a small deposit to Sportsbook.com via my **** and it was declinded. Initially, I thought the problem was with my card since B of A has been declining "suspicious transactions" as of late. However, when I checked my online statement, the $40 was indeed debited from my bank account.

I contacted SB.com via chat that same day and they admitted that the problem was not with my card but with a technical error from when the time that processor would send the money to my gaming account. They had assured me that the money would either be in my gaming account shortly, or it would be returned to my bank within my banking cycle.

It is now 7 days since this has happened and neither outcome that they had suggested has happened. WTF?

i don't understand the popularity of sportsbook.com, is it all because they have the easiest or one the easiest credit card deposit options, week after week you read abouth these problems, it's really not that hard to send a moneygram, bankwire, or set up a ******* account
hope things work out for you

          Update

I must say, I am impressed....after e-mailing my bank statement to SB.com this morning showing the charge that was posted to my bank account, I received the following e-mail within 2-3 HOURS:

          Dear David,

          Thank you for contacting us.

We received the statement you sent us and after submitting it to the credit card processor, they have confirmed that the deposit reported to us as declined for $40.00 on 3/17/2010 was indeed charged, so we have manually added the funds into your sports account as we are not able to change the status of the transaction.

Please accept our deepest apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter. Your reference ID for this email is LTK61102544891X ; please quote this number in any further communication on this subject.

          Kind regards,

          Eric

LOL, I'm impressed that they got back to me within 2.5 hours of me sending the e-mail with a favorable resolution...but that "technical issue" was indeed absurd.

The problem is generally not getting the money credited IN to your account, its getting the payment back OUT.

I have had nothing but success getting wires out of Sportsbook.com. Understand that getting checks doesn't work so well.

Again, how can so many people say they have no problem getting paid and sportsbook.com has been good to them, but everybody else gets screwed. Definitely more people getting screwed than not.

Even then scammiest of books will have far more "treated fairly" customers than not. Jazette is no different.

sb.com has been great to me since I finally was able to get a *********** account. I have always recieved my money from them but it took 1-2 months when I could only get checks, but back when I first started playing with them I had timely checks and no problems. I have even had them credit me a 100 bucks I think it was after it took 7 weeks for a payout. They have horrible cs but if you can handle the fact that you will get nowhere talking to them but will eventually get paid you should be ok. And dont forget they outright robbed like a half million from sports book players, but I only use em for poker and havent had any problems that were to major.
