#37Thanks for the points!!
after i emailed them informing that the brand and style of that top is not available in brown i got this reply...
Please note, we settle this prop according to the color of the dress she wore. As we are unaware of the style/type we are sure this was indeed brown. As this clearly appeared to be brown we have settled all wagers. In regards to this wager, this will have to stand as we will not resettle this wager.Comment -

Her own quote:
"I always wear something black and gold, though," says Kim, referring to the Saints' team colors.
Why don't you hit them with that? Then toss me some for hooking you up hahahahah

#42I think the link to the designer outfit where the apparel can be purchased (and markets Kim's outfit specifically), photos from gameday, and Kim's own quote from a respected magazine should likely be enough to get this bet regraded, or at least properly settled for those that were graded as losses.
There's certainly a lot more to go on here than a Gatorade color dispute. I agree with the sentiment here that the whole situation is silly, but whenever a prop involves human judgment somebody somewhere is going to disagree. That said, from all I've seen the shirt is not anywhere close to being brown, less Bodog has compelling evidence to prove otherwise.Comment -

#43The shirt was black, you are right!!
OK everyone- I just heard back from the Casino Manager at Bodog.com and here's what I've got:
We are in the process of re-settling all wagers as we speak. Please let everyone know that as soon as the new (correct) information was brought to our attention we reversed the decision in favor of the players. We apologize for any inconvenience to the players that bet on black shirt.
Amazing job with the fashion detective work though guys (especially you Boscoe), I'm BEYOND impressed!! ha ha!
Let me know if you have any troubles receiving your winnings,

Most computer screens aren't calibrated properly, but that photo doesn't seem to show black, far too much colour in it. Depending on the degree of shadow, the RGB points go from approx 50/30/20 to 100/70/50 (the range is 0-255 on each colour). The nearest colour I can find to the lighter areas is "5C4033 - very dark brown", at 92/64/51, but the darker areas are basically a dark grey tinted towards red.
However, that's all dependent on lighting and camera settings. It could easily be black and show as above, so a photo really isn't good proof either way.Comment -

#48Do not settle for your money back. You deserve to be paid every cent. I have had several disputes with Bodog in the past and they always try first to just refund the money and act like they're doing you a favor before eventually paying. Do not let them off!Comment -

I think the reflection of the orange-ish late-afteroon light of that giant burning ball of fire in the sky might have something to do with it. I suppose if I went all psycho-stalker on Kim K and ran up to her with a giant red lamp, her top might look really dark red in color. She'd probably freak out and her bodyguards would pummel me, but I could explain the prop bet and then we'd all have a good laugh.Comment -
