    Betonline 4-figure deposit?
They have a cash bonus of 45% with 8 time roll if you deposit over $2000.

I have never used them before, but 45% seems great especially since most books won't give over $1-2 thousand in bonuses.

Once I roll over I will take the money and run back to my exchange.

Should I go for it? Looks like free money to me but I actually want to get paid and that bonus looks kind of high.

    Thoughts?

I would double check to see if it is a free play bonus or cash.

45% freeplay is worth about 30% if you know how to extract value, much less if you do not.

Say, you deposit $2000, you get a $900 FP, worth about $600 in cash. You have to rollover $23,200. The hold on an average -110 bet is 4.5%, let's say you bet wisely and give only half of that. 2.3% of $23,200 is $527. VoilĂ ! after so much work, your expected return is $73. And that is assuming that all works OK.

Everyone here says the same: Stay away from big bonuses with big rollover requirements. Do not tie so much of your bankroll to one shop.

Freeplays should be worth around 73c on the dollar from most places.

Most books put a lot of restrictions on free plays. 73% is still possible, but not so easy.

How about a challenge? I will post a example - a book and full terms about free plays, you post how to make 73%.

I called them and they said it is just a free play and there was a mistake on the site.
This can help you estimate your free play extractions: http://www.sbrforum.com/Betting+Tool...alculator.aspx

But many books do have line limits for free plays.

I posted that a 45% free play is about equivalent to a 30% cash. That is a 66.7% of value, I think is it even optimistic. Of course, each book has their own rules; the current trend is towards a more restrictive use of free bets. Some only allow them to be used into straight wagers (sides and totals) and no parlays. In that cases you will be lucky to get much more than 50% value. Or they limit moneylines to +200, so you may get about 65% value. I know the parlay round robin trick (75% value), but even if allowed, I would advise against it if you are depositing a large sum. You may be flagged as "non recreational bettor" and get your bonus cancelled.

Why take 45% free play from BetOnline when you can get 100% free play from BetPhoenix with the same 8x rollover? And BetPhoenix pays alot faster when you win.

Yup i can get 100% freeplay from Betphoenix. I'd worry about too many restrictions at Betonline.

I'd consider taking some remedial reading comprehension lessons.
