    Wagerweb
Why does Wagerweb get a D rating from SBR? I have been playing there for about 4 years and never had a problem with them. My account manager is Marcel and he has always helped me tremendously whenever I needed help. I have always been paid promptly. Usually on the same day whenever I used money gram or western union. When I request a check, it is always at my door within 2 days. I would highly recommend this book to anyone. I don't know what they did to deserve a D rating but in my opinion they are an A++++.

If you read the news updates on player disputes, particularly the most recent theft, I think it's fairly clear why a D-rating is needed to warn players to stay away: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/sbr/wagerweb/

Be careful you don't win too much, otherwise their history suggests they'll just start engaging in random, large confiscations to keep your $$.

I can only hope you're a shill, not a player who really risks his $$ there.

Like I said, I have never had a problem and I have had some fairly large withdrawals. I took out $7600 after I won a futures bet on the Phillies two years ago. I took out $4000 after winning a blackjack tournament. After 1 incredibly lucky week in December 2009, I took out $3000 via check for 3 days in a row for a total of $9000. They never bat an eyelash and always send me my money. Also if they are so bad, why does the OSGA (OffShore Gaming Association) rate them as an elite sportsbook with no outstanding complaints on file?

How to spot a shill in 2 easy steps

          1) Defends a shit book on the day he signs up
          2) When told exactly how the shit book stole money, ignores it and says the book is solid anyway

Scam book. They'll pay if they think you're a longterm loser, but otherwise you're in trouble.

As most of you know I have had very few problems with them over the 3 steady years of play. Getting paid for the most part has been like clock work. I've had a couple instances of confusions with bank wires, but they were resolved quickly.

This post is not meant to lead anyone in any direction. I'm sure there are happy players, such as me. Also unhappy ex players. Thats life.

This is assuming they have the cc auth form/id, right? No book would accept a cc and send you the money asap without this info.

op signs up today, raves about the book, knows osga but does not know why wagerweb is rated so low, and/or refuse to acknowledge the thefts when confronted w/the data, yea move along people, nothing suspicious here

Taking an educated guess I would agree with you. No way of knowing though I assume.
