    5dimes Reduced Juice?
Opened an account on 5Dimes around 4 years ago. I was an idiot and took the freeplay bonus option instead of the reduced juice. I still have reduced juice but the maximum i can bet is $50. Usually i bet between $100-300 on a game. Sometimes i bet $50 for fun and other times $500 or more if i really like a game.

I know that if i did chosed the reduced juice option 4 years ago, i would get to bet maximum $500 per bet on reduced juice. However, say if a game starts in 2 hours, 5dimes does allow me to bet the reduced juice multiple times. Many times i would bet the reduced juice $50. Then in 2 minutes i would be able to bet another $50 instead of betting the full juice -110. Usually if the line does not change, i have to wait about 5 minutes to place another wager. So in order for me to bet $200 on reduced juice, it would take me about 15 minutes to put in 4 wagers. However, most of the time i bet games usually very close to gametime so i bet the other amount in regular juice.

Does anyone know even though $50 is my max for reduced juice, does anyone know how much money is really the maximum i can bet on 1 particular game in reduced juice? To the people who have the $500 reduced juice, can you bet $2000 using reduced juice if you wait every 4-5 minutes?

The thing is I am a long time loser at 5dimes and at every other book like bookmaker, bodog, thegreek, betjamaica and matchbook. I know i would never lose the privilege of reduced juice at 5dimes b/c I never won in my 5 years of gambling in sports.

Also, is there a reason why many games are not -105/105 but are instead
    -108/-102
    -109/-101
    -107/-103
    -106/-104

Interesting. I have the reduced juice, and have never tried to bet more than $500 after the initial bet. I do know that most of their college basketball totals have a $250 limit, and I can only exceed that amount on those if the line changes.

As of your second question, it's because they are making one of the sides an odds favorite, similar to baseball. You're still laying the same effective juice as on a -105/-105 bet.

Yeah Tony actually talked to me when I originally signed up some time ago not to take the bonus program because of the reasons OP listed, but he did say on some events you can continue with a $500 bet max over and over. So the answer to that question is, yes. (depending on situation)

The second question also if you see a bet (-108 -102 or -101 -109) is when the favorite -109 line moves any further the spread will also move, so it is indicating where the money is leaning. This is my interpretation.

I now use 5Dimes as an out to roll-over and transfer to other sources which have offerings even 5Dimes can't match. I do like 5Dimes though overall, and think it is one of the best starter traditional books for anyone because they have the most offerings and reduced juice. And in my experience they transfer very fast and don't complain or ask questions like some other ones....

So the money is leaning to the -109?

If you are all about reduced juice without limit, transfer some money from 5Dimes to Matchbook. It's free and almost instant.

The same thing happened to me. About 5 years ago I opened an account there and took the bonus and had $500 limits on reduced bets. I think in the past year or so they moved to the "take the bonus or the max limits on -105 pricing" model and my limits on reduced went to $50. I contacted them on chat and complained. The lady told me since I was a long time client I would continue to get account bonuses AND I would get $500 reduced limit.

Problem solved, you may want to contact them.

anyone know why they let you place multiple 50's on some and not other games?

If you have a clue they cut your reduced vig limits to $50 anyway.
