What book do you feel has the best software these days?
Have seen a few books changing things around in the past year. Heading into 2010, what books do you feel have the best software now?

US facing books are still light years behind the Euro books in this respect.

Of the US facing books, I like The Greek mainly because of the quick search.

I have always liked 5Dimes software. Lots there but still easy to find what you want, as well as bet quickly.

The best US book can beat the worst European book in the quality of software.

As a software engineer who has been invovlved in development of many software packages and can appreciate good technology when I see one... my view is that: Bwin & Bet365 have by far the best software... (not the best books but best technology)

It would have to be bet365 and some other euro bookies. I have always been pussled as to why there is such a huge difference between euro bookies and offshore bookies.

The sportsinteraction site is pretty good though.

Haven't played there in a while, but BetEd does have some nice software. Real easy to switch between sports and put in multiple bets at the same time.

I wouldn't rate any major us-facing book as anything less than horrible. Carib gets the golf ball through the garden hose award for the worst suckage though. Justbet takes normal crappy ASI and makes it worse with stupid popups. Greek is abysmal for betting more than 1 team at a time. Most software is either horrible at displaying multiple things at once (pinny, greek, 5d, SIA), or showing you far more than you want to see (Phoenix, want to look at 1h, you get Game too). I'd rate Cris as C-, since you can selectively display exactly what you want and buy points without going through convoluted stupidity, but in addition to some smaller complaints, it has the EXTREMELY annoying "feature" that it doesn't refresh the bet categories properly. If you're doing something else (or not logged in), and a second half, or in-progress line comes up, it can take forever to display. It doesn't matter how many times you refresh-it just won't show up on your screen.. while it shows up for other people the whole time.

The original Phoenix software had the good parts of Cris, and the betslip functionality which can be useful for multi-team bets, but it was littered with retarded popups, and it didn't check for line availability at the right time, so you could jump through hoops getting a bet ready once the line was already gone. And the way bets got off the slip after betting was bad too. It's the closest any US book has come to even trying though.

It sure would be nice not to have 4 or more windows open at the same time. Especially in-play, MB could definitely make adjustments.
